Considering that Favre has the experience but is quite old and and that Chad Pennington has the willing and the youth, which quarterback you think is going to take its team further this season?

The Jets will go Farther. pennington is accurate but has no arm strength.

Favre and the Jets. He has better WR's in Coles and Cotchery to throw to and is a better QB, even at Brett's age. Pennington could improve the Dolphins, but I don't think anything drastic.

The jets did chad a favor by just letting him leave instead of trying to trade , so that Chad could find a team quickly and start .What did chad do ? He crossed the Jets by going to the fish. HE had SIX TEAMS that were interested !!I

The source saying chad had six teams looking at him was his own agent...Go figure... As a long suffering Jets fan I know just how limited your offense is with Chad...... I love the guy, he can move the chains, but he just cant make the throws in crucial situations.

Gotta go with Favre. Worth his weight in gold to the Jets. As long as he gets his protection and stays healthy.
With that said the Dolphins have to be given a second look by me when it comes to betting. Looks like they could hold thier own and pull some upsets as they will be getting little respect again this year.

Im not trying to be a homer.. I usually hope for the best and expect the worst with my Jets, I get pretty negative. But this is different, Im looking at what I can see on paper, and the Jets with Favre and a much improved O-line and Defense, should be in it this year... The interesting thing about Favre is his recievers last year: Driver and Jennings. Had almost Identical HT and Weight as Coles and Crotchery, and almost the exact same numbers. But I was never the biggest Favre guy. I remember often betting against him, I would be watching the game with my dad nervously, Id need a TD last in the 4th to cover, and my dad would say "Dont worry, Favre will do something stupid any minute now!" And he'd be right, a stupid INT...... That being said hes still a vast improvement.

I do thing the Phins improving from last year, but not by more then a couple games, this is clearly a transition year, they need serious help in many areas, the QB position doesnt change much IMO.

You should stay that way, Favre made the Jets better but the team still have lots of flaws...
