What's a watchdog site?

I have seen some places claim they are a watchdog site. I dont fully understand on what it is or its purpose? Can anyone shed some light on me so I fully understand. Thanks

I think it is more for people who pay for picks, the site joins a watchdog list so people know their safe to bet with, that is what i was told, they have a black list of touts who have ripped people off.. and a list of who is making money...

Ok Thanks Bro. Yeah, there is some hustlers out there Im sure that scam people when they buy their picks. I get emailed all the time about buying picks. The funniest thing Ive ever heard was them touts saying they will give me my money back if they have a losing week or next week is free type deals. I just dont understand it at all unless they are actually going to give me all the money I lost. Say I bought picks for $100 a week from them but with thier picks, I lost 5K on my bets, who cares about the 100$ I gave for the picks, if you made me lose 5K. lol

There are some really good handicappers out there but you really got to look into them because most of them are scams. I never bought picks and probably never will. Thats just me though. I actually enjoy handicapping the games, thats half the fun for me anyway.
