2005 MLB AL and NL MVP??

I think it should be either David Ortiz or A-Rod for the AL and Andruw Jones or Albert Pujols for the NL

Ortiz is having a great season and is Truely MR CLUTCH time and time again. I think A-Rod has been great also but have to give the nod to Ortiz. A-Rod might win it because he is also good with the glove and Ortiz is a DH. Andruw Jones is money on offense with 50 HRs and on Defense. He is clearly one, if not the best center/outfielder in the league.

Whats your thoughts?

Oh Yeah Derek Lee has been great also but the Cubs stink

I think ortiz and jones win it....you can argue that a-rods numbers are great and he plays defense really well at 3b and at ss if needed, while ortiz dh's..no questoin if ortiz played in the field he would probably cost boston a few games w errors, and his offense might drop off a bit..that being said....how many times do you see highlights where ortiz gives the sox the lead, or brings them back? it seems like its everynight....arod does well in the clutch too this yr, but ortiz just seems to always come through.

as for the NL...a month and a half ago i would have said Lee, but he has tailed off and w the cubs being out of it he would have had to almost win the triple crown if not win it to be mvp....pujols has had a solid yr, but jones has been ridiculous....with all the injuries to ATL if he doesnt have the season he did ATL prob doesnt win the division....he carried that team for most of the yr while they were without chipper and were playing rookies it seemed at every spot....

I agree naught Jones has been awesome. Atlanta would of never been where they are now without his bat and glove.

yeah....i hate atl as much as anyone tommy, but gotta give druw his props, and bobby cox should get manager of the yr....with that group to win the division again, congrats bobby...one has to wonder if the braves will lose a division title in my lifetime, lol

Yeah Amazing what ATL did this year with their injuries and yeah, ATL just wins the division every year. You can give them the division before the year starts no matter the situation lol.

yeah its pretty sickening...ATL been the best team in the reg season over the past 10+ yrs, but they choke in the playoffs....maybe next yr the mets or phils can dethrone ATL, NOT! LOL
