Wow, by no means am i a braves fan but how does andruw not win the nl mvp? the braves played like 10000 rookies, chipper was hurt, and all druw did was hit over 50 hrs and carry the braves to the playoffs....pujols is a great player but by no means should he have won mvp this yr

I don't know Naught. It was a close call but Pujols is deserving of the Award. Slug %, on base %, Batting avg Pujols was better and he was close to Jones in HR's and RBI's too. Pujols was definitely the better "overall" offensive player this year. Jones had a monster year too but I disagree with you that he carried the brwves by himself, alot of players on the Braves stepped up, including their rooks. It was a close race and could of went either way, but to say Jones got snubbed I disagree. Pujols was just as deserving.

tommy...the award isnt best offensive player...its most valuable and clearly andruw was that this season...with all the braves injuries if he doesnt do what he does, both offensively and defensively no way they win the nl east...pujols is a monster but STL had a much better team than ATL....you take andruw off the braves this yr they prob come in 3rd in the division....
