Pac-10 Preview (December 3rd).

Game of the Week (Pac-10 Conference)

#11 UCLA (9-1) @ #1 USC (11-0) 4:30 ET ABC.

Opening Football Odds: USC-22 o/u 75.

Current Football Odds: USC-21 o/u 74.

Breakdown:

USC has secured the Pac-10 BCS birth but needs a win in order to move on to the Rose Bowl vs. possible Texas . In order to accomplish this feat they must get past UCLA at home. USC has won 26 straight games at Los Angeles Coliseum and can add to the streak with another win. Lendale White, listed as questionable earlier this week, will share the backfield with Heisman leading candidate Reggie Bush.

UCLA would like nothing better than to spoil USC National Championship hopes. A win by the Bruins would force a three-way tie at the top of the Pac-10 Conference. Starting quarterback, Drew Olsen, leads the nation in passing efficiency. Olsen has thrown for 6 touchdowns and only 1 interception in the last 6 games.

Betting Action:

USC opened as a heavy -22 point favorite at home. Early money being played has been in favor of the Bruins at a 2 to 1 ratio. The betting trend has dropped the game slightly down to -21. A three touchdown pointspread between division rivals both ranked in the Top 25 is not common in College Football.

The total opened on this game 75 and dropped slightly to 74 behind some ‘under' money being played. Both teams are ranked in the Top 20 in the nation in overall defense so this could be a high scoring affair.

Against the Spread (ATS):

UCLA is 1-3 ATS this season on the road.

USC is 1-4 ATS this season at home.

National Statistics:

Overall Offense

USC ranked 1 st nation with 571.27 yards per game.

UCLA ranked 18 th nation with 444.40 yards per game.

UCLA ranked 106 th nation allowing 435.40 yards per game.

SEC Championship Preview (December 3 rd )

#13 Georgia (9-2) @ #3 LSU (10-1) 6:00 ET CBS

Opening Football Odds: Georgia -1 o/u 41

Current Football Odds: LSU -1.5 o/u 40

( Bet College Football now at www.wagerweb.com )

Breakdown:

SEC East Georgia takes on SEC West LSU with a trip to the Sugar Bowl on the line. Georgia lost quarterback DJ Shockley on October 22 nd to a knee injury. He sat out the following week vs. Florida and the Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season and dropped out of National Championship contention. The top-rated passer in the SEC Shockley has thrown for 2,199 yards with 19 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions.

LSU has the nations 5 th ranked overall defense. Allowing only 278.7 yards per game they have held opponents to 13.5 points per game en route to a 10-1 record. A win vs. Georgia and a loss by either USC or Texas might give them a shot at a Rose Bowl birth and a possible National Championship.

Betting Action:

Huge early ‘sharp' action on this game drove the line from Georgia -1 to LSU -1.5 on the road. The general betting public has followed suit and continues to bet LSU at a 3 to 1 ratio. If the trend continues you may see this game go to LSU -2 or even higher before kick-off.

The total on the game opened 41 and has dropped to 40 as a result of 2 to 1 money being played on the ‘under'. Both teams are ranked in the Top 15 in overall defense in the nation. We expect to see more ‘under' money being played up until kick-off.

Against the Spread (ATS):

LSU is 5-0 ATS this season on the road.

Georgia is 3-3 ATS this season at home.

LSU ranked 57 th nation with 378.64 yards per game.
