Arrow Should Congress Ban Internet gambling? Vote Now!

If you didn't know already, members of the US Congress are trying to pass a bill to shut down online gambling from Americans. If the bill gets passed, then all Internet Services Providers will be forced to block off any type of online gambling site from all Americans.

Please take a second of your time to place your vote and maybe post a message from the Wall Street Journal online website.

Mold, if the bill gets passed then just Americans will be blocked from accessing all gambling sites on the internet. This will be done by forcing Internet Service Providers to block people's IP's from the US to access gambling sites.

I guess no one cares. 2 responses from Sam and Mold, both whom don't even live in the US. I knew no one actually bets here lol. I guess it's off to vegas for most of you then, if you want to bet sports or gamble of course.

I don't really know what's going to happen. I hope they regulate the online gambling industry rather than try to pass a bill to ban it.

I know there is alot more important issues right now to take care of before the government decides on this one.

The link above to the Wall Street Journal is to get a consensus on what the general people are thinking about all of this. I don't know if it will have any affect on the outcome, but it's possible.

They wont ban internet gambling.Too much money involved and this group in the White House are where the money is,legally or not.Military Oil Gambling all the same.Start a war, create record profits for their oil buddies, vote legalized gambling in, or out, to benefit their own. They will create a new New Orleans,to benefit their own, with tax money from us. They will not help those who lost everything. They care about nothing except themselves their money and power.Wait till you see what they do with the border problem and the illegals who are here now. They work for them and thier friends, for low wages,no benefits.Who profits ??? Right they do.They pay the low wages,we the tax payer pay for everything else.Medical, education you name it.Bottom line an amnesty program so everybody stays. The power and money win again. The average hard working american gets to work a little harder and longer to make ends meet. The illegals stay we pay.Dont take this the wrong way.We are all some where down the line from immagrants. The difference, our ancestors, for the most part did it legally. Thanks for giving me your ear, feeling a lot better now.

i agree old head...way too much $$ being made there for them to ban it all together...i do think it will get restricted somehow thouhg, i think the major concern is young kids getting involved in gambling and limiting that somehow, hopefully we wont be forced to us locals lol

Naught, been around this too long so my opinons are strong not always right,so naturally have an opinon right or wrong. On underage anything the age is all wrong. If you are old enough to fight and die for your country, then very simply you are old enough to drink and gamble.Anyone 18 and over has that right. And I will fight again for that right. The thing that has a lot of people upset are the students, you never hear a word about the military.Again, the people who have, care about Johnny boy in school gambling not Johnny boy in the military who got his head blown off yesterday.Once again the powers that be, have their priorites all screwd up.My feeling is let everyone who is over that magic age of 18 experience all that life has to offer, learn and grow.Better now than when he is 28 with a family and he decides now is the time to learn all about the things he missed.Once again, feeling a lot better,!!!
