Default Calculate units..

I would just like to know how to calculate your units when you win/lose a bet. Example I win a 5 unit wager +145, how many units do I have? Then I lose a 5 unit wager -110. I guess you can all tell I'm kinda new at this.

Hi Habs,

If you bet 5 units on +145 and won you would have 7.25 units. If you lost you would just lose 5 units.

5 Units on -110 and you win, you would win 5 units and if you lost you would lose -5.50 units.

It's basically -1.10x5 or +1.45x5 for an example.

Unit system is to win on a favorite and to lay on a dog.

So basically if you bet -110 it's to win 5 units and if you bet +145 it's to lay 5 units.

Say a unit is $100 and you put 5 units which would be $500 on a line of +145. If you won the bet you would win $725 which would be 7.25 units. If you lost you would just lose the $500 which would be 5 units because it was a dog.

Say you put down 5 Units on -110 it would be $550 to win $500 which would be 5.50 units to win 5.00.

I hope this helps.
