The Atlanta Braves have won 11 straight games that Tim Hudson has started!!! Hudson has went 6 or more innings in 10 of those 11 games while going 7-1 in away games this year. Hudson is a Road Warrior!!! He has allowed opposing teams to hit .240 against him on the road while allowing only 2 Home Runs at opposing teams parks!!
Joel Pineiro will have the honor of starting opposite of Hudson. Pineiro has allowed the Braves to hit at a .400 clip with a glaring 12.00 ERA in 3 innings of work in his career against them. However, Pineiro has pitched decently of late, allowing 9 runs in his last 24 innngs of work. He better bring his A game against this Braves club that has scored 37 runs in their last 5 games!
I see no reason for the Braves scoring machine to come to an end tonight. St. Louis who is only hitting .248 against righties in their last 5 games should put up a small number against Hudson.
