Nats at Braves -150 * Neither pitcher has had a lot of work this year. Situational if the Braves lose here tonight, you have to think about hitting them. Cubs -115 at Houston * Would think Woods got some of the rust off by now and I personally like to fade Wandy. Padres -120 at Brewers * Jake Peavy only -120 taking Dave Bush and his 7.16 ERA in his last 3 starts with a Brewers offense that has been slumping? I have $300 on the Padres in this one. My mind is made up and no one will be able to talk me out of the play, but if you're against the play please say why so others can have a more informed opinion. Cincy at Stl -200 * Looks like real good value with Cincy. Milton has been pitching solid lately. Pitt at Colorado -135 * I'm a big fan of Francis, but his 16+ ERA against the Pirates is pretty worriesome, also the rockies BA against lefties wold be a concern. Some value on the dog... Philly at Arizona -115 * Zona will be the next team I make a play on. Hamels walks way too many guys for my liking. Cruz has pitched better as of late and the Phils don't get on base a lot on the road. Mets -135 at Dodgers Total of 7 with these two pitchers you'd have to strongly consdiered the under. I like the Dodgers as a home dog with how lowe has been pitching. Marlins at Giants -200 Another live dog to take as Josh Johnson numbers are outstanding. 1.96 ERA and a 1.008 WHIP in 6 starts this year. Oakland -110 at Cleveland I really like the under in this game. Oakland always seems to get hot in June, and Zito is really starting to heat up. Pretty much a horse a piece though. Toronto at Baltimore -115 I put a $250 OVER 10 (-130) on this game already. Tauberheim has an ERA of 8.59 in his two starts, averaging 3 and 2/3 innings and Bedard has an ERA of 13.88 with a 2.314 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Toronto scoring 6.4 runs a game against lefties, while Baltimore scores 6.1 runs a game at home. Should be a shootout. Don't have too many thoughts on a side here either. Boston at Yankees -140 I'm not even going to discuss these two teams. LAA at Tampa Bay -125 Looking VERY hard at the under in this game again. Would take Kazmir, but I don't know about a side at all. Sruggling a bit on AL games. Detroit at CWS -130 Two teams that are struggling a bit, like the dog in this as CWS numbers are a little low compared to AL averages against lefties. Texas -200 at KC DO I take this big of a favorite? More than likely... Minny at Seattle pk Battle of the young pitchers. Liriano has been sick... ERA under 1 and Seattle doesn't hit lefties almost at all... lol... Got $200 on Minny as well. |
