my goofy way of thinking won again on my last day before vacation. jamaica was great. baseball does not exist over there. everthing was soccer. i could not even get baseball scores on a regular basis. i got back last night and saw my phillies did not do very well, the mets continue to win, but they have slowed down. the braves are in last place (wow) and florida moved up in the nl east. i am a little lost coming back, so i hope this is not a mistake to jump right in when i should probably wait until monday, but i missed this stuff while i was gone.

phillies +157 vs boston (3 units)...............how could you not like boston. cory lidle has not won a start in a while, the redsox are cleaning up in interleague play. phils are losing, sox are winning. boston seems like a real solid bet to me. of course you all know what i am going to do. take the phillies who appear to not have much of a chance.

mets -120 vs toronto (3 units)...........mets have starting losing a little bit, luck for them the phillies can't get it going. mets finally lost of the road last night. my usual way of thinking is they are due to lose a few on the road, so why not take toronto as a home dog, they are a pretty good team themselves. mets due to get lit up and toronto is certainly a team that can do it of the offensive end. of course that means the mets pitcher probably throws a shutout and mets win again. i know this is a crazy way of thinking, but it has worked for me.

atlanta +117 vs tampa bay (2 units)..........the atlanta braves suck this year and who is this guy pitching for them today? tampa bay continues to clean up in interleague play like they always seem to do. it does not appear that the braves are a play today at all, they are on a big losing streak losing 9 of 10. baseball is just about goofy enough for the braves to win this game today. i will try it.

detroit -160 vs st louis (2 units)...............i know the tigers are playing great ball this year, but the cards at +152 is a mortal lock...whoops, i used that word again, better switch sides on this one. give me detroit.

my next two plays are for one unit each. what i have been doing with my one unit plays is simply taking two large dogs that appear to have NO CHANCE of winning, it has done very well for me. here are those two dogs today.

pittsburgh +197 vs dodgers
florida +212 vs yankees (game two)


there you go, lets see if i can continue to get lucky.

Thanks guys. Vacation was great. The bartender at the swim-up bar never let my glass get empty. All-inclusive trip too, so there were no limits on what you could eat or drink. Glad to be back home though, too much of a good thing in Jamaica, I would not want that all the time.

3-1 so far today for plus 6.34 units with florida left, so it is going to a a winning day no matter what and a great day if florida comes in.
