Been then the favorites have been losing me money almost all year. Ah well... back to the table one more time... Wednesday Plays: $100 White Sox -160 - Bounce back game for the White Sox. Brewers took 3 out of 4 on the road in Chicago, I'm thinking CWS are a bit better... $150 Toronto -170 $75 Philly/Tor OVER 11 - Bernero has a career ERA around 6. He hasn't pitched in the majors since early last year I believe. Janssen's numbers lately are none too impressive, but the offensive Blue Jays at home will take this one. $300 Detroit -175 - Pittsburgh shouldn't win two in a row against good competition. Kenny Rogers is putting up some huge numbers with a 3.38 and a 0.938 Whip in his last 3 starts (21.3 innings). Kip Wells hasn't faired too well since coming off the DL. He's got an 11.88 ERA and a 2.521 WHIP in his two starts (8.3 innings). $75 TB/Wash under 9 - Battle of two teams that can't score and are tossing out unheralded minor league pitchers. Both of them have met the challenge so far this season and I see no reason for that not to continue against offensively challenged linesup today. $100 Cincinnati -110 - Byrd's numbers aren't too bad on the year, but Cleveland doesn't seem to win on the road with him on the mound. Ramirez has been solid at home, and that should continue today. $125 Baltimore +120 - Chuck James is nothing spectacular. I expect him to get roughed up a bit more in his second major league start then he did the first time through. In his first start he struck out 8, but walked 4... His GB:FB ratio was 2:13 - which leads me to suggest some balls will be leaving the yard today. Cabrera has put up better numbers on the road this season. $200 Boston +110 - Just call me stupid... Florida is 5-11 in Willis starts this year. Boston is on a monster winning streak... Don't bet against streaks son, especially getting them at plus money. $75 Milwaukee +150 $100 Mil/Minny under 10 (-130) - Homer play... Don't really like any of the late West Coast games... I'll think on it this afternoon, but with going to the bars and shit tonight I highly doubt I'll be on them. |
