Lots of favorites winning yesterday, at least in the games I was on. Took 4 favorites and won them all while losing my three dogs. I went 4-5-1 and was up $85. Those of you's were on St. Louis and Seattle are probably thinking not all the favorites won. Also there was a lot of one run games yesterday where a lot of you's got burned on RL's. I'm sorry how that turned out - I know that feeling, oh, too well... Had a crappy month in June, going to try to change that for July.

Saturday Afternoon Plays

- I feel there's value with the line. Randy Johnson has put up some good numbers as of late, but I think the Mets offense is being a bit disrespected here, especially with regards to how RJ had didn't the first 1/2 of the season.

$125 Chicago White Sox -155
- As some others have posted I really don't think that the Cubs take one in this series. That said today is their best opportunity to as Maddux takes the hill against Vazquez. Maddux has put up number worthy of the All Star team in his last 3 games, but the Cubs as a team have managed to lose all three of them. I loved the under, absolutely loved it, until I saw that the WIND IS BLOWING TO RIGHT AT 20 MPH.

In the other afternoon games I lean towards SF (G1) and Texas but won't be playing either of them. I'll be back with the 4pm and later games shortly. Best of Luck Today!

hey man GL w the plays...i like CWS but not enogh to play them, cant back cubs and maddux right now and vasquez is capable of gettin lit up..id like to go w the mets but the way they are playing right now and w no nady and likely no delgado thats tough..maybe the +1.5 as hopefulyl trachsel can keep them close

- Hendrickson is 5-2 with a 4.01 ERA and a 1.266 WHIP in 7 career starts against the Angels. Angels have won one of their last five games. As an offensively challenged team, they're going to need Kelvin Escobar to step up today. With an ERA of 5.78 in his last three I don't see that happening.

- We'll try this again today. Taubenheim isn't a solid pitcher by any stretch of the imagination. Lidle has a 7.02 ERA in his last three starts for Philly. Taubenheim has been averaging under 5 innings a start, so I'm assuming the Blue Jay bullpen will take over earlier than later and get the win.

$100 Boston -175
- Fading Moehler in this one...

$50 Cleveland RL +105 (-150)
- Looking at the pitching matchup in this game Lee is hands down the better pitcher against Mays. I'm leaning towards the over, but I think the RL is the best play.

I actually think the Pirates have some value today with Gorzelanny pitching as Detroit struggles scoring runs against lefties. Gorzelanny has a 2.36 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP in 99.3 innings at AAA Indianapolis. Won't play either side as Bonderman is a stud for Detroit this season0.

- Fading Ortiz and Baltimore on the road (and previous h2h against the Braves).

$200 Milwaukee -110
$150 Mil/Minny under 9
- Might be blinded a bit by my following of the crew. Cappy has a 2.05 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP in his last 3 starts, which he won all of. 4 of 5 losses this season by Capy came on the road though. Silba has been pitching better lately, but he still has almost a 7 ERA on the season.
