I've been trying to keep my amount of plays down here a bit the last few days, and it's working out pretty well, like I have always assumed it would. I have a few other things going on that is taking up my time, so I'm not pressing for action just to have action. Sometimes my capping is like my sex life, I don't descriminate - the more the merrier. Although I regret some of the girls the next morning, at the time it seemed like a good idea. The current approach is more quality than quantity, although you never know what you get until after the fact.

- I'm diving into a nice juicy Bush here, and hoping I don't come up dry. Dave Bush has been coming to the table with a 2.05 ERA and a 1.045 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Harang has been even better with a 1.59 ERA and a 1.147 WHIP. Both pitchers have been pitching deep into the ball game, which will keep both of their less than desirable bullpens off the field. Basically, both offenses are similar, as they're either feast or famine. I'm taking the home team here, as I look for the Crew to turn things around after getting swept in Minnesota. The Brewers may be down early, but will come back to finish things off like I'm expecting.

- Another game where both offenses are similar. In this case I'm taking the team with the pitcher who has been performing better. Ted Lilly has a 1.50 ERA and 1.278 WHIP in his last games which were all wins. John Rheinecker has a 8.10 ERA and a 2.551 WHIP in his last three games going 1-2. He has pitched better at home though where he's sporting a 3.74 ERA, but a high WHIP of 1.708. Toronto for the most part has been the much hotter team as well. I'm happy getting them at plus money.

$200 Detroit -110
- Detroit's been the much hotter team for most of the season. The splits in this game are extremely favorable to Detroit as well. They're scoring 5.7 runs one the road and against righties, while Oakland is knocking in 4.4 runs at home and only 3.7 against lefties. Detroit is batting almost 3% higher across the board. Talent wise Blanton is the better pitcher, but Nate Robertson has been the one performing. Feel like I'm beating this horse by taking Detroit, but eh...

$200 Seattle -110
- Got to take King Felix in this game, especially with Seattle at home against an inept Angels lineup. Weaver has done some things so far, but I want to see more of his work before I get excited about him.

Don't know what's going on with the Mets with their pitching situation, but I was thinking of taking Houston, Minnesota, and the Mets in a parlay. If I don't do that I'll add a 5th game. Like I said I'm really watching my amount of plays, but if something catches my eye later this afternoon I won't be afraid to try to cash in on it.

like the plays man....tor and milw should cash imo...be careful about the mets...pedro was supposed to pitch but is being held out and the mets taxed their pen pretty good in last nights debacle..oliver is starting but if he cant give them 5-6 innings they arei n trouble id lay off that one, or take the over

Baltimore had to travel from Atlanta last night for this game today, while Chicago just drove across town. Baltimore has been horrible on the road this season going 14-24 overall while scoring 4.1 runs with a .250 AVG. This is also represented in Erik Bedards record as the Orioles are 2-5 in his starts on the road. He has a 7.60 ERA and a 1.864 WHIP in 34.3 innings of work. He has pitched to his potential in his last 3 outtings, but then so has Freddy Garcia. The White Sox have averaged 6 runs a game at this season, and their OBP is over .350 down the board. CWS is 29-11 at home and 7-1 on Monday's. The CWS are 10-4 the last 3 years against Baltimore. I'm going to wait another half hour before I put this in to make sure no one is sitting for the Sox's.


Forgetting the Mets parlay and all of that garbage... Brewers tried to kill me there.
