I have been thinking since you said that LA Angels have been HOT and I know I had checked the record since the all-star break and Boston has been just as HOT as LA. LA in their last 10 games is just 5-5 and Boston in their last 10 is 6-4. Now to go a little deeper LA in their last 15 since the all-star break is 10-5 and Boston is in their last 15 games is 9-6. HOME & AWAY Boston is 6-4 at HOME their last 10 games and LA is 6-4 their last 10 on the road, so yea LA has been HOT, but, so has Boston. So there is not a whole lot of difference.

well LAA was 19-6 their last 25, now gonna be 20-6 thats better than boston has been....plus u had to figure the odds makers knew what they were doing...schilling 8-0 at home, unbeaten in his career vs laa...lackey never beaten boston yet the line was moving down in favor of laa up until gametime....i believe it opened at over -150 and was down as low as -140 at gametime....sometimes it is good to play w the streaks, other times it bites u in the ass....hopefully u can rebound tomorrow

Damn Neil how far you want to go back on their records??? Let's not stop at 26 games let's just do 50. It would wind up going back to the start of the year. You can't go back a month and count that, going back 10 games is a lot to see how a team is playing. I can go thru my records and point out 10 teams over 25 games that went from a winning streak to a losing one. All I did was counter your POINT that LA was HOT and I showed that Boston was just as HOT. A move from -150 to -140 was public money, that damned sure was not Sharp money, sharp money would have moved the line .10 in (1) one jump. I don't like betting with the public, All That happened was Schilling was not sharp to start the game, after 2 and 1/3 innings he settled down and held LA. You can't possibly beleive that the public knew Schilling was going to be off his game for 2 and 1/3 innings. The public got lucky for once out of 8 or 10 times, you live with the public and it will kill you.
