| Wig, thats a tough break thats how I got beat all year on screwed up shit like that. If it wasn't that it was a so called manager making an obscene call and screwing me. You always give me tips, I have one for you: Don't bet Cleveland, they have to have the worst bullpen in the majors, if not the worst one of them. Get em' tomorrow bro!!!

| Nick - I know Cleveland is a big disappointment, but I had this game nailed. Wells should not of even been favored. He has 2 pitches. 1. 89 MPH Fastball 2. 72 MPH Curveball As you noticed no lead was safe with either pitcher in the game, but when Cleveland had the lead they were able to hold on until the 9th. I got screwed again by making a sharp bet. I guess I should just bet on offense and forget about pitching. I hope Papi pays for what he did to me tonight. I guess what I am really sick of is that I analyze the game in great depth. I don't just say Papi is better than Hafner and Cleveland sucks and lay the chalk with Boston. Every play I make has a reason. Yet the majority of these chalk players are winning $, when they should be losing it. The sharp players are losing games they should be winning because the concept of holding a lead and good pitching is obviously no where to be found today in baseball today. Look around on any forum...these idiot touts laying rediculous line and they get bailed out by assholes like David Ortiz. YTD 8-7 +1.12 Last edited by Wigington : 08-01-06 at 03:13 AM. |

| I know all about it Wig!! I am getting to the point where I think less may be better(capping). I mean I look at 8 to 10 different stats daily capping MLB and where has it gotten me??? I am just glad I knocked my units down to hardly nothing. I have made 4 nice size wagers (last 10 days) considering 1*=$10.00 and hit 3 of the 4. So I guess I will continue and when I like a game alot, like Arizona last night I will bet em' big, I had 15* on the ML and 15* on the RL which was only $150.00 on each. Most of my wagers are 2* or 3* and I will continue like that. Because, of hitting 3 of those 4 big plays I actually made a profit this month and my record was 55-56-1. I must have done something right. I just got tired of betting the same amount on every wager and I loved some plays.

| Ya know Neil, told me to start wagering on 5 innings and you take the bullpen out of the equation, which makes a lot of sense with so many BLOWN saves in the majors this year. I have never bet that way before really. A few times, I just don't know enough about it to try. I guess you just cap the same way and just bet the games you like for 5 innings.
