I liked the Phillies @ home today, Phils are averaging 7.5 RPG in 6 home games this month and the Mets are only averaging 2.88 RPG on the road this month in 9 contest. Then I looked at Maine's record in his last 3 starts and he is 1-0 with a 1.96 ERA, while Mathieson is 1-1 with an 8.25 ERA and he has been racked up in his last 2 outings.

Mathieson having given up 13 runs in his last two starts. In his last outing, he said that he got away from being aggressive, which cost him, as he gave up six runs to the Reds in a no-decision. The time before, against these very same Mets, he allowed seven runs -- just two of which were earned -- in the fourth inning, capped by a Jose Reyes grand slam.

So I opted to stay away from this game,but, I'll be rooting for you in this one!!!
