| Ok Guys, Here is this run down of tonight’s short list of MLB plays. FL-D Willis –163 ML 3 units facing Philly –Lieber. RL –1.5 +135 2 units. Florida has taken 4 of 6 against Philly this year. 5 of the 6 games have been decided by 2+ runs. With Lieber posting a 7.02 ERA over last 3 games and Willis 1.71 the clear edge in Pitching goes to FL. Especially with most of Philly’s power being left handed Willis should be able to keep the Batting average below .200 for the game. Expect a low scoring game as Lieber can be strong when he is on but I fully expect FL to win this by at least 2 runs. Fl has played very well at home going 11-4 in game 1 of a series vs. 8-7 for Philly. Taking Under 4.5 1H Washington/Cincy. 2Units-Loaiza and Milton on the hill make for a likely under almost any day. Loaiza should be able to keep the Cincy Offense at bay early and Washington is more of a 2nd Half team scoring most of there runs btwn the 7-9, Cincy also tends for the late rally, often scoring 1-2 runs in the 1st 5 innings. Under coming in 5 of last 6 for Loaiza and the lack of offense for nationals against a guy like Milton fits for a perfect setup for the under early. NY METS +120 – 5 units- going against my ATL boys. Ramirez is on the hill for ATL with a 4.5 Era over last 3 outings- if this trend continues ATL will be in some real trouble early. The Mets have Ishii on the mound who has 2.5 Era over last 3 and has been pitching fairly well. Both clubs are banged up with ATL missing a key cogue in Chipper Jones and Beltran for the Mets- both doubtful- the difference is the Mets are a deeper team at the skilled positions. Mets can smell the top of the Eastern Division Standings- look for a good game here but for the Mets to build a comfortable lead in this one. It pains me as much as any other Brave fan to bet this way- but all signs pt to NY METS. Last and by far my biggest play Garland 8-0 going for the CWS- this one may get ugly. The Angels are without Vlad and this team will be facing the potential CY YOUNG award winner in the AL. Expect win number 9 tonight as he will face of against a young Santana in Anaheim – the value in this game is the ML –131 someone is on crack b/c this is a gift. 10 units. CWS take it home. Simply put Anaheim lacks the punch to win here. |

| like the write ups gt but nearly 40 yrs of baseball tells me to recognize there is no such thing as a sure thing in this game. Everything may point to Garland and the sox but they been cooling out lately and both due for a mild correction. Angels without vlad and a young santana likely to bear down and play loose in this one....thats why the lower than expected line. my call angels win and santana decisively beats garland in the line
