| While we are all doing our baseball betting tonight, let us step aside for a moment and remember a highlight from one of, if not the most famous baseball bettor of our time. Pete Rose! Today in 1963 Pete Rose connected for his first major league home run. It begs to question if he had a small wager on that fête. It does not matter since little did he or we know, just how much time he would have to master all of his skills. Think about this if you were Rose. 160 Home Runs,.303 Average,1314 RBI's,all this and 14,053 at bats. Did I mention 4256 HITS? All I can say is he was one of the best to ever play the game. I hope he was as successful with the 'book' as he was playing baseball. You must admit he had plenty to bet on during the course of his baseball life. If he bet every game he played in, try 3562. That's a whole lot to bet on! Still to this day, I say he belongs in Baseball's Hall Of Fame. Good Luck!
