Cincinnati Reds - Washington Nationals

Washington has now some wins in last week, but yesterdays seems that they had luck (again). I think they change the way of thinking in last 1 or 2 weeks. They had some good results, but all wins were very close. Pitching stuff is ok. But they are not so good in offense. Ok, lets see, what we have. Tomorrow will meet two poor teams (I expected more from Reds, but ok,...). Washington is last with 16 wins, an Reds are also last in their league with 17 wins. The form is definetly on Washigton's side. They have 7 wins and 3 losses in last 10 games, while Reds have just 3 wins in last 10 games. Washington is awfull in their road games. They have just 5 wins and 15 losses, including 8 straight raod losses. Reds also won 10 of 12 games against Washington.

Batting:
I think batting is on Reds side. They have more good options in offense. Yes, Washington won some good games, but for this wins, they have to fight. Only really good player in Washington team is Zimmerman. The others are just avarage. If we look at avarage runs on away games - Washington is just on 2,9 runs per game (all games 3,2). They don't have player with avg 0,3. The highest avarage has Church, who is questionable for today. The second thing is, that they will face Arroyo, who is very good lately, and has not allowed any run in two starts against them.
On other side we have good batting lineupa with 5,00 runs per game (at home). This is big difference. And also we have some really good batters, like Dunn, like Phillips, here is also Griffey with 8 home runs. And these three players have more home runs, then wholw Washington team.

Pitching (Arroyo - Speigner):
The pitching is on Reds side. Arroyo is very good. In last three starts he has ERA 2,75. And this was against more potent lineups, then Washington is. About Speigner I really don't know much. He was reliever and has one start (1-0, 4,91). He is starter because Hill is on DL. And this will be first time to pitch against Reds. Pither is on Reds side.
If we looka at bullpens. Washington bullpen is good at home, but not so good on the road. At home they have ERA 3,77, while on the road ERA 5,09. And I think this is big difference. On other side, bullpen is also about ERA 5,00.

Conclussion:
Washington showed some improovements in last games, but I think they are one of the poorest team anyway. They have some great plays at home. But after this, they have to go on road games, where they are struggling. I think they were in "must win" situation last week, because they had some record of 7-8 losses. The biggest loosing streak ever with Washington Nationals name. Now they can relax a little bit. And in this situations they can make some errors. On other side we have good pitcher and the team, who has not so bad lineup, but I dont know what are they doing. Maybe pitching is not on high level. Because avarage 5 runs per game is not so bad. Tomorrow they will have good pitcher on the mound, who has great record against Nationals. They need wins I think more then Washington, who I think will go a little bit relaxed in this game, because they won yesterday against Baltimore. They were 1-3 whole game, and then in 8th innong they score three runs. Washington will have pitcher who will be on the mound I think some 4-5 innings. On other side Arroyo can pitch much longer. So then will come road-washington-bullpen with ERA 5,09. And on other side we will have solid offensive team. Washington is struggling away and I think they will score max 1-2 runs. On other side Reds can make some 6-7 runs
