Next we move onto Fenway for a very intresting match up between the Boston Red Sox and the LA Angels.

For long periods of these sides seasons these two were by far the most productive sides in the League,however the starting pitchers match up for today does'nt favour the Angels much at all,and if this game gos the way I think it might then the Angels could well be on the back foot for the remainder of this series.

The Red Sox will open with Beckett,career wise in the post season he is 2-2 in 5 starts and against the Angels he is 2-0 with an era of 2.16 in his career,His postseason numbers are pretty good and his form also has been good,he starts this series at home where he has been solid all season and with a great hitting line up for the Sox it could be a long night for the Angels.

The Angels turn t Lackey,his post season nubers are again decent 2-1 with an era of 2.11,however his numbers against the Red Sox imparticular this season are not very good at all,he is 0-2 with an era of 8.38.

I would have to favour the Red Sox here today and not only for the picthing match up,Lackey has major problems with two batters imparticular in this Red Sox line up and the two hitters are possibly the worst to not have good numbers against,Rameirez and Ortiz finished their seasons well,both are hitting and driving in runs and homers and Lackey has never had sucess against them,asnother reason to like the Red Sox here is because the Angels who were so dominant for long periods of this season had great hitters who were all hitting well,but leading into this series the Angels hitters have gone quiet,in fact Figgins who was unbelievable earlier in the season is 0 for 22 in his last 22 at bats,Gurerro has'nt been playing and will only just be returning tonight if fit and Anderson and Molina have also been quiet,while both sides come in here with great winning records the Red Sox would still seem to be very productive while the Angels have'nt been,in fact the Angels best hitter of late has been Wiltts and he does'nt hit homers,or not that many anyway.

Not much about this series has be thinking the Angels can cause an upset and with the history of Lackey against Boston and the non hitting of the Angels line up,I'll take the Red Sox to also win today by 2 or 3 runs...Good Luck.
