Overall on Sunday I went 3-5 dropping 1.67 units. I lost my only moneyline parlay. I won two of three favorite plays and lost three of four dog plays. The nice thing about dog plays is I sucked going 1-3, but only lost a little over a unit and a half on them and 1-3 sucks. I don’t think I have been on the plus side this year yet, but I feel like I am getting closer.

No need to explain these two. Hudson has been great this year and he was 4-0 with an era of 0.60 last year vs the Nats. The Diamondbacks have a huge pitching advantage as well vs the Giants. Of course these are the types of games that lose all the time when you think there is very little chance of happening.

Colorado -115 vs Phillies………….I am shocked this line is as low as it is. Phils just put Jimmy Rollins on the DL. That hurts as he is their spark plug. I am not so sure Phils pitcher Kendrick is as good as his rookie season last year. I think the Rockies and their bats at home is a steal at this price. I hate betting against my Phillies, but you have to bet with you head and not your heart.

Mets +115 vs Cubs………………Cubs have the better record, but I think the Mets are the better team. Maine is capable of throwing a great game here and I don’t think Zambrano is what he used to be, so I will try the Mets as a doggie in this one.

Florida -104 vs Pittsburgh…………..Why not keep taking the better team when you don’t have to lay a fortune to play them? Sure it is at Pittsburgh, but the Pirates continue to suck every year while the Marlins are at least competitive. I will try them at only -104.
