It is getting stone crazy!!!

Boston @ Detroit game tied 9-9 bottom of 9th and Detroit has the winning run on 3rd base with 2 OUTS. Placido Polanco up to bat and he is 4 for 5 in the game. Now with 1st and 2nd base open and not meaning a damn thing, with the winning run on 3rd base they make Papelbon pitch to Polanco and he politely goes 5 for 6 GAME OVER.

I ASK ANYONE, what in the hell is the matter with this manager????? How in the hell do you pitch to a man that is 4 for 5 on the night and seeing the ball very well???? not only that, the count was 3 balls and 1 strike and he tries to pitch to him, are they out of their minds????

Another thing that is bothering me, What the hell is the matter with these closers???? Isringhausen has smoked me 3 nights in a row. Tonight St Louis is winning 3-1 bottom of the 8th and they bring in NO_ARM Isringhausen and he BLOWS a save for the 2nd night of the last 3. I bet against St. Louis last night and this SOB comes in and smokes me 3 up and 3 down. The night before and tonight I bet on St. Louis and he BLOWS the save and stomps me. I'll bet they don't hhave more than 8 or 10 good closers in MLB today, most are washed up!!! Isringhausen since his surgery has never been right, Hoffman has been gone and Gagne since his surgery has not been right and never will.

I guess they just don't have enough closers to go around, I'll say this, I'd use a middle releiver before I would use and one of those 3 closers!!! Whats wrong with a late set-up man as a closer???? He has to do his job for 2 or 3 innings to get to the closer so he can blow it...... I'd just as soon use the late set-up man as my closer!!!!
