i am back from having a nice weekend (hope you guys had one too) and found me a play i like a lot for today:

Twins (Silva) over Mariners (Meche) 4 Units

silva is just doing great. he has a solid 2.45 ERA over his last 3 starts. furthermore he had solid games against seattle so far (2-0 1.23 ERA).

meche is below average and has been even worse in his last 3 starts with an ERA of 7.36 and giving up 22 hits in his last 14.7 innings.

the fact that mariners are not hitting any good lately and twins are swinging pretty well this one should end up just nice for the twins.

i do also like the white sox tonight but just can't go against the yankees at home.

SEATTLE -- The Twins couldn't hold on to a 4-0 lead and dropped the opener of a three-game series to the Mariners, 5-4.

The Twins had chances to score but were not able to take advantage of them.

that sucks.

a lot of strange results since the all star break that just does not make sense to me.
