tuesday bases

213-197 (-16.32 units)

just when i think i am turning the corner, i turn around and have a bad day. 0-3 (-4.64 units) yesterday. guess it is my own fault as i admitted i forced those two one unit plays last night. even though i have cut my losses in half (was down over 30 units a while ago), i am getting a little burned out with bases. it is such a long season and with football getting closer, it might be time to start putting more time and effort into that. i think i am one losing streak away form stopping.

three unit plays

atlanta -165 vs san fran............speaking as a phillies fan.....I HATE THE BRAVES!! but, you have to give them credit as they have taken control of the nl east and it does not look like they are going to give it up. all the other nl east teams have to look at the wild card race now. this should be a blowout.

phillies +105 vs dodgers.............i know i am a phillies fan, but if anybody follows my picks, they know that i go against them just as much as i take them. this Tejeda kid has stepped in the starting rotation and has done a great job. against the light hitting dodgers, i expect another great outing. the phils have played very well vs the nl west this year too.

as a matter of fact, i really love these plays. i am going to add an extra unit on each of them tonight and make them four unit plays. i have not done that this year, these will be my first. i really do like these games and hope i am not making them 4 units out of desparation.

houston -105 vs washington...........pitching matchup favors the nats, but they are ice cold and the astros are red hot and this is at houston. this is probably a trap, but i don't care. got to love the stros in this one at these odds.

cleveland -165 vs kansas city............cleveland back in the wildcard race and lee has been their best pitcher. it also help when you are playing the sucky kc royals.

no one unit plays tonight. i can smell a 4-0 night tonight, certainly no worse than 3-1. good luck everybody!!
