Default 8-10 Mlb

Braves (Smoltz) -1,5 Runs 2 Units

Same play as yesterday but today we do have smoltz pitching for the braves. for the writeup you can check my post from yesterday. nothing changed. even bigger advantage on the pitcher, braves are unbeatable at home lately and are hot as hell. braves score 2 times more runs over their last 7 games than the giants do. braves batting avg over their last 10 games is 0.336. giants do have a 0.218...
this should be an easy win for the braves.

Astros (Rodriguez) ML 1 Unit
rodriguez ain't that bad as stats may make you believe at first sight. he has improven since all star break. since then he is 2-1, gives up less hits+walks+home runs and has a 3.75 ERA.
hernandez has been solid for the nats and i expect him to pitch a good game tonight.
so this game might come down to the bullpen where the astros has a nice advantage.
i expect a close and low scoring game since both teams do not score much lately. since astros hit at least 1 home run at home per game i see another adantage for them. they did lose yesterday and are hot at home. so loosing 2 games in a row at home is unlikely. i see value here for the astros.

Toronto (Chacin) -1,5 Runs 1 Unit
i like chacin a lot against robertson. chacin has been great for the blue jays since year with an overall ERA of 3.5, 2.64 since all star break and 1.4 over his last 3 starts.
robertson is even worse since all star break. 6.75 ERA since asg and 4.98 ERA overall at road. he already gave up 9 home runs since the break and 28 hits in his last 17 innings pitched.
the batting average is in favor for the blue jays as well. 0.291 against 0.257 over the last 10 games.
tigers do have a better bullpen but that won't help them tonight. i believe this one will be over pretty early and toronto will give robertson a hard time. so the over would be a good pick too. actually it is a really good pick i think. so here we go:

Toronto (Chacin) vs Detroit (Robertson) Over 9 Runs 2 Units
jays will hammer robertson tonight. we will see at least 2 home runs

unfortunately i did not have enough time to go into the other matches deep enough but i do like angels as a dog tonight. santanas stats are way better than they are at the first look. he has terrible stats over day games and great ones at night games. 2.84 ERA since all star break...

gl to everyone tonight

adding

Mets (Benson) vs Padres (Lawrence) Over 7.5 1 Units

are you kidding me with this line? both pitchers are below average and do always get some runs. they do combine a 12,03 ERA over their last 3 starts. since both teams do score well lately and have a nice swing this one should go over early. mets bullpen is always good for some runs too.
the life time ERA of both pitchers against each other teams may be low but i don't give a fxxk about that

damn, someone please tell me why this line is so low

i am a little unsure why my bookie thinks this one will go under so i won't risk too much. maybe i am overseeing something.

damn run lines

robertson and correia with unexpected solid pitching. particularly correia with very strong first 4 innings. braves bullpen killed the run line, damn it.

at least astros won and the over at the mets game did hit too.

crap, should have parlayed braves and jays moneylines.

will bounce back today stroooong
