SCI Monthly Baseball "Play of the Day" Contest

Starts: Monday, June 1, 2009

Contest Breakdown

1. This contest will run from June 1st to June 30th. If all goes well, we'll start up a new contest on July 1st.

2. There will be a new contest thread started each morning with the day's lines (5Dimes) in this baseball forum. You will reply with your pick (1 ONLY) in the thread using the lines posted ONLY.

*** Your pick must be posted in the thread at least 10 minutes prior to your game starting or it will not count.

3. We will be using moneylines and totals only. No runlines. You must reply with your 1 pick with your team and line in the daily contest thread.

EXAMPLE: Milwaukee -120 (moneyline) or Milwaukee Over 9 -105 (total).

4. Your record must be at least 15 total picks at the end of the month to qualify for prizes. (Remember 1 a day only!)

5. Most units won at the end of the last day of the month will be the winners.

6. If there is a tie before the last day of the month, there will be some sort of tiebreaker during the last day.

Rules

1. This contest is FREE, however, you must have/open an account at 5Dimes before entering. (Use this link if you do not have an account)

2. Participants who contribute to the forum outside of this contest will qualify for the prizes. Replying to threads with GL does not count as contributing. There is no post count, but it has to be something.

3. 1 entry per person, per IP address. Anyone caught using 2 posting handles will be disqualified. It's easy to spot, so don't try it!

4. No editing of your post. If you messed up, post it again. It must be the same pick! No changing of your pick.

5. If your pick gets rained out or canceled, you may post another pick if the new pick is at least 10 minutes prior to starting. If there is no other games, you may post 2 picks the following day. (Next day only!)

Prizes

1st and 2nd most units won will be the winners.

1st place: $125

2nd place: $75

*** Winnings will be credited to your 5Dimes account. You MUST have an account PRIOR to your 1st pick to qualify! No exceptions!

I also wanted to mention that 5Dimes is one, if not the best sportsbook for betting on baseball. I've been playing there for years and love it. No bull.
