| Phillies (Myers) 2 Units myers is 7-1 at home and 4-0 since all star break. he has been gret so far for the phillies with no big up and downs. plain solid. hernandez ain't bad either but has been shaky lately. myers does have a 1.95 career ERA against nats. phillies top the nats in almost every criteria of my rating system tonight. not by far but they do enough to make me feel pretty confident about this one. Reds (Harang) 4 Units Reds (Harang) -1,5 Runs 2 Unit strongest play for me tonight. i love to take reds with harang at home against the giants with correia! harang is solid at home with a 3.16 ERA. giving up less hits and less walks at home than on road. he also improved since all star break in every category. correia is 1 classe under harang and has 4.5 ERA /1.70 WHIP at road and 5.33 since all star break. he also gave up 7 home runs in 25 innings since all star break and reds do hit 1.5 home runs per game at home this year. giants scored 2 runs average over their last 7 games, wow, that sucks. reds did score 5.3 runs and avarage only 3.3 runs earned over their last 7. reds will hammer correia tonight and giants will keep struggling to score any runs against harang. Brewers (Sheets) 2 Units sheets is lights out. 2.3 ERA since all star break. 1.33 ERA over his last 3 starts. cook is under average. both teams did score 6.2 runs combined per game over their last 7 games. i do also like the under a lot here but will skip this just because i am not sure if i should play an under at coors field at all. but this is the strongest total runs play for tonight as my spreadsheet/rating system says. Red Sox (Arroyo) -1,5 Runs 1 Unit holy shit, red sox did put magnets into the balls and their bats i guess. hitting almost every damn pitch, averaging 10.2 runs over their last 5 games. 0.325 batting avg / 0.407 OBP over their last 10 games. WOW! if they can do anything like that on the road this should be a nice game to watch. arroyo is 2-1 against tigers with a 2.75 ERA. douglass is 1-1 against boston with a 6.48 ERA. douglass has been great so far for the tigers at home but has been shaky over his last 3 starts with a 7.71 ERA. i think red sox will give him a hard time tonight and will rise his 1.29 ERA at home record. since arroyo is always good for some runs and with red sox offensive power this one should be a nice over. something like 7-5 for the red sox. A's (Zito) -1,5 Runs 1 Unit i would take a's with zito at home against any team at this price i guess, lol. he is a stud. 9-1 over his last starts, 5-0 since all star break. he barely walks batters and he does not give up up many hits (29 hits over 42 innings since all star break). he has a 3.42 ERA at home, 2.79 since all star break and 2.59 against the orioles. lopez ain't bad but has a 5.7 ERA at road and 8.4 over his last 3 starts. both teams could not score much lately but a's did not earned many runs over this period. Reds (Harang) + A's (Zito) Parlay 1 Unit see above. bol to everyone |

| yeah right. this was the last time i bet on baseball. you gotta be kidding me with these results. just take a look at the scoreboard and at the lineups. almost every game ended up against every logical thinking. there is absolutely no explanation for this. i am not mad about the money at all. i never bet more than 10 bucks just because i do it only for fun. so what i will do in the future is keep posting my write ups and my ratings on mlb i just don't want anyone reading my crap to lose his money on. there are some simple rules i made for me: 1. the only team that has been constant winning for me is the cards. so if i will bet, i will bet on them. 2. total run plays has been also more profitable than money line plays. 3. betting on dogs +1,5 runs makes a lot of sense to me. so i will play that more often. cheers |
