Anybody ready for bases?

Seems quiet here in the baseball forum. I know as a Phillies fan I am very excited. I am not worried about the Mets, they always suck no matter who they sign and maybe the Braves are due not to win this year. As much as I hate the Braves, you have to consider them the team to beat until somebody does exactly that. I think whoever stays the healthiest between the Phillies and Braves will win the NL East this year.

Lets here some comment............

Cant wait hope the Baseball classic thing is watchable. MLB just around the corner though.

im excited bout the mlb season, 2 reasons...one my blue jays are legit contenders in the al east, and 2, delgado is on the mets and they can only be better w their signings and knowing beltran cant be worse than last yr...if the mets dont make the playoffs id be very surprised

mets usually find a way to play below what they are capable of playing. i think whoever stays the healthiest between mets, phils and braves win the nl east. i would not mind seeing the bluejays win it either in the al.

yeah the mets have no excuses this yr, they have good pitching, got wagner to close out games, signed delgado to give them another big bat, bring it on!

Yeah I am ready! Too bad the Phils got worst and won't compete this year.

Mets and Jays look like a real threat this year. Could possibly meet in the World Series, but I doubt it. They will both be good this year I think. The Jays needed to do something to compete in that AL East with the Yanks and Red Sox. I believe they will finish in 2nd place this year.

GO Phils anyway!!

yeah mets/tor ws is possible, i wouldnt say very likely but possible....i really dont see any way the mets dont make the playoffs this yr..id love to say they will win the division, which they should, but until someone beats ATL i wont make that kind of statement, but ill say the mets get in the playoffs whether its via divisional winner or wild card....as for toronto...boston has a lot of questions..they lost damon which is big for them, whats going to go on w manny, he wants out, will her be there or not, if he is will he perform, how is their pitching, is schilling healthy, etc....the yanks are the yanks and have talent, their offense should be ridiculous but im not sold on their pitching, they are all a yr older and pavano pitched like shit last yr and he wants out....the jays are a young team, can hit, made some good moves, solidified their pitching and pen, shold be able to compete and hopefully get in the playoffs!
