slowly climbing back from that 15 unit deficit. if it were not for those two unit plays i played, i might be on the plus side already. oh well, i will get there. now to saturdays card......



colorado -102 vs phillies...............don't like the the lieber has thrown for the phillies all spring and his first two starts. now throwing in colorado is not going to help the situation. should be alot of offense in this one. rockies outscore the phillies today.

texas +157 vs oakland..............i know harden is pitching for the a's, but speaking as a phillies fan, i have always liked padilla and hated to see him go. his problem is he is all or nothing when he pitches. he is 2-0 this year and looks to have found his groove. texas has always been able to hit the ball, and throw in a hot pitcher and plus 157, and i think you have some pretty good value here.

angels +100 vs baltimore..............baltimore might be an improved team this year and they are at home, but i will take colon as a dog vs almost anybody, even a top notch team, let alone a team like the orioles.

mets -145 vs milwaukee............as a phillies fan, i hate the braves and the mets, but i am not stupid. as long as i am going to get the mets as a fairly small favorite at home, i will keep taking them. they are redhot to start the year and i think i will ride them until they start losing. i think the only thing going against me is that they are due to drop a game.

that is it for today. hope to chip away a little more today. there are a couple more that i liked, but four is already pushing it as far as playing too many games.
