| Current Money Line Record...............61-65 +$53 Current Parlay Record........................0-4 -$300 Current Run Line-ARL Record............33-36 +$1400 Current over/under Record.................16-20-1 +$105 Overall Baseball Record.....................110-125-1 +$1258 What are in red/italics are not actually plays of mine, just posted for tracking purposes and to gain some knowledge. Record if I played ML's instead of RL's 42-27 +$1292 Every week I get a few games that I would have won if I played the ML instead of the RL so this is to see what I would have done. I decided I wanted to keep a record of this for my personal knowledge and as an experiment of what is the best option to play. This is only going to be updated on games I PERSONALLY played the RL on, not all games. POD Record 10-8-1 +$870 included in total record 4/3-4/9 +$14 4/10-4/16 +$688 4/17-4/23 +$1191 4/24 NO PLAYS (Yeah Miracles happen) 4/25 -$635 4/26 +$ Total Wagered this Season $26950 Number of Plays 236 Average per play $113 Looks to me like I should have taken another day off on Monday. Ended up losing just over $400 when the day was all said and done. Over $600 on posted plays (Had a $100 a game on ChiSox and SD unposted). Decided it's about time to keep two separate records for my plays and posted plays, as I have a feeling these next couple weeks I'm not going to be able to post all of my plays do to lack of time. Probably wasn't the smartest tonight calling in those last two games without breaking them down, but it worked out for me this time. The cavities are filled but now they want to take out my damn wisdom teeth. I'm SO glad they waited until I'm almost graduated and off my dads insurance. Going to have to figure out something there. Bad night all around. Still went to the bars though, had a few top shelf mixers for a $1.50... can't complain about that. Tuesday Plays $75 Philly/Wash UNDER 8 I'm not very good with totals, but when I was breaking down this game I really wanted to go on Philly. I really think Washington is going to start struggling to hit the ball pretty soon. Philly has been pretty awful this year against righties and both Lieber and Patterson have been on fire this year. I'll ride them being hot again. $75 Braves/Mets OVER 6 $50 Mets RL +170 (-145ML) I'll probably regret this and no numbers support it, but how can you not take an OVER 6? Well I can answer that for you, when the ball game will end up 3-1 or something like that. I just see one bad inning giving me almost all of the runs I need. Think Smoltz might get lit up like a Christmas tree in this one too. We'll have to see... Probably my dumbest play(s) of the night, well until it wins. $400 Houston -125 (POD) To start out Houston is batting a solid .285 against Right Starters. While Pittsburgh is struggling horibble against lefties at .215... Houston's bullpen is keeping the lead for the most part for them. They're have an ERA under 2 on the raod and a WHIP of 1... Their K:BB ratio is pretty damn good too. Pittsburgh's bullpen is pushing an ERA of 6 and there whip is in the 1.7 range. They're struggling with control and really can't be counted on. With this info alone I'd be playing Houston for around $100. BUT then you have the pitchers. Kip Wells has an ERA of 6.47 and a Whip of 1.691, while Andy Pettite is at 3.55 and a WHIP of 1.263... There is a prett ybig advantage there for Houston as well. Houston is also 22-11 against the Pirates the last 3 years! While Pettitte lifetime against the Pirates is 2-0 with a .82 ERA and a .545 WHIP! Kip Wells is 2-5 against the stro's and has an ERA of 5.48 and a WHIP of 1.52... I can't find one thing I don't like about this game. Plus I can't see the Pirates winning two games in a row against the likes of Oswalt and Pettitte. $125 Cubs RL +135 (-160ML) As bad as the Red's are on the road you have to give serious attention to the home team. Add in the fact you have a dominating pitcher in Zambrano going against a struggling Milton and you have a pretty solid play. Now if only the Cubs bullpen can keep the 2 run lead for me. Chad Fox looks like he could be done for the year and that will probably place Hawkins back into the closer role. $75 St. Louis RL -110 (-200ML) I think there might be something wrong with Doug Davis. He's been extremely wild lately and it is causing him some trouble. Carpenter has been solid all year and the Brewers have struggled beating the Cardinals. Not the biggest fan of laying chalk on the RL, but I think it might be worth it. $125 Florida -155 $50 Florida/Colorado UNDER 8 I was planning on taking the RL in this game as well, but when you have -110 for that just like it is for St. Louis, I feel there is more value on just taking the RL. Josh Beckett has been lights out this year. Kind of hard not to ride him. I'll tail JOB on the total as 11 looks to be pretty high when you have Beckett on the mound. I don't like the inflated numbers Colorado has against righties and their home batting average. I also don't like their bullpen stats for the O/U, but you have to throw that all out the window when they're at Coor's and go on your gut. $75 San Francisco RL +160 (-145RL) I like the value with Jason Schmidt on the mound. $75 Boston RL +160 Some value here with Clement and the World Champs getting some major plus money. $50 Los Angelos Angels of Anaheim +130 I'm going to ride Bartolo Colon and the better team in the Angels. I'm a bit scared in this game by how well Pavano has pitched. But I've got Colon on the mound for my fantasy team tonight and I see him doing well... Pretty smart move eh? You have a guy pitching for you fantasy team, so you bet cash on that team to win... I'm such a degenerate. $50 Minnesota RL -165 (-275ML) I can't believe this number, but it IS Santana and it is Kansas City... Should be an easy winner, but there isn't a whole lot of value in this one. Arizona's inability to hit on the road really makes me want to play the Dodgers, but with Erickson's pitching history, I'll PASS. Robertson has taken care of Westbrook and the Injuns in the past. Plus the Indians can NOT hit lefties. The numbers are pointing to a play on the Tigers, but I like the Indians so it's a no play. I'm not sure what I like in that Oakland/ChiSox game... I'll see how far my homework comes and if I want to be a degenerate and make a small play on this game. I don't know who I would like right now though. Would be a great game to watch though. Got me a large paper to write for tomorrow explaining the paradox between why the majority of Americans prefer to live in the country, but say America needs large cities and people should live in them. Somehow I'm going to turn the entire paper into something sports related. Good Luck Today!!! |
