Every week I get a few games that I would have won if I played the ML instead of the RL so this is to see what I would have done. I decided I wanted to keep a record of this for my personal knowledge and as an experiment of what is the best option to play. This is only going to be updated on games I PERSONALLY played the RL on, not all games.

Two things that have me concerned. My POD record (well total) is better than my overall total. All that extra work right now isn't paying off. Need to kick it up a notch today. Second thing is for the first time all season, my hypothetical ML record would be doing better than my RL record. In the 83 games I've taken the RL on this season, I've had 13 1 run ball games that I lost because of the RL. Most of the time the +money was evening it out, but it isn't right now. Plan on just doing what I normally do all season and I can readjust my gambling strategy after that.

FRIDAY PLAYS

$75 Washington -120
The numbers point to a Washington win. The Nats are facing Seo again pretty soon after they just lost to him. Second time through could be trouble for the Mets. I don't know why, but I don't feel completely comfortable on this game.

$200 Florida -110
I'm a sucker for Florida. I love betting these guys. The pitchers are just GREAT. My one concern on this game is Florida's below average .250 average against lefties. Philly only hits .256 against righties so that evens out. The pitching is extremely one sided in this game. Wolf has had horrible career numbers against the fish. Hopefully the off days didn't effect these guys too much.

$150 San Francisco +105
Wow, I didn't realize SF was hitting over .300 against lefties. Pitt struggles hitting overall. They have a .235 average on the season against lefties. When you get down to their bullpens SF blows Pittsburgh out of the water. My concern on this game is the starting pitchers. Tomko has really struggled this year while Redmen has pitched lights out. I'll take the historical trend in this one and fade Pitt and Redmen against SF.

$75 Braves RL +190 (-115)
$50 Braves/Cards UNDER 7.5
I just see a lot of value in taking the Braves and Tim Hudson against Stl and Mulder. Braves hit lefties good. Stl can't hit righties this year. Should be a low scoring game, but I'm thinking a 3-1, 4-1 type final for the Braves.

I don't have a feel for the Cincy/Milwaukee game at all. No Play, would lean with Cincy though... But then Claussen can suck a fat one... Just be cheering for the Brewers...

Houston/Cubs aren't doing anything for me either. I want to take the Cubs, but Clemens has been too good.

I want to go on Peavy, but that juice is just too damn high. Brandon Webb has been pitching well, and Peavy's historical numbers against Arizona are not good. Prolly should stay of of it, but I"m a degenerate.

With the way Perez is pitching this year, I like the value on the Rockies. I'll give it a whirl. Rockies also hit lefties pretty good (over .300).
