Most of my friends would say I gamble too often and if they hear about this one, I'll never hear the end of it. I had a girl begging me to come over and "fuck her or at least make out." I've never had a girl plead so much for me to do her... It was actually rather a turn off.

I know why I turned her down, but half of me still wants to kick my own ass for not going to get some. Now I'd like to say I was trying to be a gentleman and with her being wasted, and myself not having a drop to drink... that I didn't want to take advantage of the situation. But the truth of the matter is I wanted to get my capping done for Tuesday and well I hadn't been drinking. There's no way I could get on this girl being sober. She's one of them you need to at least put down a 12'er for and bring a flask along with you for the ride. Ya know the kind they put speed bumps in at buffets for. Ontime/Jhunter know just how ugly this chick is as they've seen pictures... oh and jimmy, sorry for "poking" your sister... Hit me up when you get back from her graduation.

Anyways back to capping the games... (shakes head)...

$250 Cincinnati -135
$100 Cincy/Pitt under 9

- Aaron Harang has a 0.37 ERA on the road with a 0.863 WHIP. In his last three starts he has a 3.27 ERA, with a 1.091 WHIP while going deep into the games. Cincy is 7-1 in Harangs starts this year. Paul Maholm has pitched well lately holding strong with an ERA of 2.41 in his last 3. But over the course of the season he's been giving up way too many hits and walks. The Pirates are 2-5 in Maholm's starts. Cincinnati has been destroying lefty pitching this season with 0.275 AVG, a 0.378 OBP and scoring 6.9 runs a game. I am a bit concerned of their struggles scoring runs on the road. But the Pirates also have difficulties at the plate with an OBP under .300 and only scoring 3.8 runs per game on the year.

- If Willis had been pitching a bit better lately I'd say there was some value with Florida, but I'm going to stay off both sides and the total.

$100 Brewers -135 (previously posted)
- Cappy has been awesome for the Brew Crew. He's got 2.83 ERA, a 1.037 WHIP, doesn't walk too many and strikes guys out. Cory Lidle has struggled going deep into games, but that may help Philly and a pretty decent pen. I definately give the starting pitching edge to the Brewers, and it's home run after home run for guys on the Brewers this year. It's a shame there is a lot of solo shots. I love how Philly is going on the road and they struggle against lefty pitching (4 runs .220 AVG .296 OBP) and they're going against one of the better ones in the NL. As for a total, I think the total is just about right on. I see the Brewers winnig 6-3 or 5-3 or something like that. Don't like Philly being hot in May though...

$100 Washington +155
- To much value in Washington in my opinion with how the Cubs offense has been. Zambrano is always one fuck up from self destructing. Nats 5-1 against the Cubs at Wrigley the last 3 years.

$100 Houston -140
- Houston has the advantage down the board. Pitching is better, SF can't score on the road, etc.

- I can't get a good feel on Stl/Mets matchup. I like Glavine to do some things, but I have a feeling the Mets are going to struggle to score. Can't get over the fact that STL owns the Mets in their recent matchups. No plays...

- Lowe has put up some good numbers, but gut feeling says Colorado is going to win this one in a low scoring game. No Plays...

$200 San Diego -140
- Playing this on the pitching matchup and SD ability to win away from PETCO.

National League Recap:
$250 Cincinnati -135
$100 Cincy/Pitt under 9
$100 Brewers -135
$100 Washington +155
$100 Houston -140
$200 San Diego -140

I'll be back a bit later with my American League plays...

I just lost my entire card and writeups with Microsoft Word having some error. So no write ups on these.

AMERICAN LEAGUE PLAYS:

$150 Boston/Baltimore OVER 9 (-130)
$150 Detroit RL +130
$100 Detroit ML -170
$100 Minny/Detroit OVER 9
$100 Texas/NYY under 10
$250 Toronto +100

- could possibly put an under play on CWS/TB

This is by far my favorite card of the MLB season. Wanted to ease into things here until I won some money back, but I can't pass up all of this value today.

AMERICAN LEAGUE PLAYS:

$100 Texas/NYY under 10

I like your NYY under 10 play (I even bought the extra 1/2 run
under 10.5@5Dimes-140) for a little insurance.

1)Matsui and Sheffield are already out, and Jason Giambi may miss today’s game with a stiff neck(injured on a dive).
2)The pitching matchup is unique, as both pitchers have won four straight decisions. Ranger rookie Jason Koronka is 4-0 with a 3.20 ERA over his last 6 starts, while Shawn Chacón is 4-0 with a 2.67 over his last five starts.
3).Chacón may have a slight edge, as he already beat Texas this year (one run and five hits over 6.1IP), and is 3-0 in 4 starts against the Rangers in his career with a 2.66.
4)The Yankees' lineup has scored just 9 runs in their last 36 innings for an average of 2.25 runs per game.(Since Matsui and Sheffield have been out of the lineup).
5)Yanks have scored 2, 1, 4, 2 runs last five games. All four have gone under.

GL fondybadger with all your picks.

WOW !!! I could not have been more wrong about a game!!!

--Chacon was chased after getting only four outs, his shortest start since Aug. 16, 2003.The right-hander yielded a season-high eight runs - seven earned - and six hits before being booed off the mound.

Handed a 9-0 lead in the second, John Koronka failed to last five innings for Texas!

After NY scores 9 runs in their last 4 games and with 2 very good starting pitchers The NYY score 14 runs and The Rangers score 13 runs!!!
GO FIGURE??
