| 2005 MLB Record: 35-31 (+13.34 Units) 2005 ML Record: 17-15 (+8.99 Units) 2005 O/U Record: 15-13 (+0.45 Units) 2005 RL Record: 3-3 (+3.90 Units) *All lines from Pinnacle WHPG = Walks, hits and hitbatsmen per 9 innings Record Using WHPG: 3-0 (+11.90 Units) Alright. I have decided to combined all Umpire Angles, Personal plays and other systems I have and put them all in the same thread. It's much easier to track and that way there is no confusion. ------------------------------------------- Detroit Tigers +117 (1 Unit) The entire world is going to be on El Duque and the White Sox but I'm going the other way. Jason Johnson is 2-1 on the year with a 4.35 ERA. Johnson has pitched some decent ball this season as his WHPG is of 13.06. His career numbers against the White Sox are pretty bad and so are his numbers away from home. However, the Tigers are 3-1 when Johnson is on the mound and I see another win. Detroit's bullpen is slightly better than Chicago's as they allow opposing teams to hit only .226. The White Sox are 6-1 against righties at home, however, they are averaging only 3.57 runs per game in those games. El Duque is on the mound tonight for the fifth time this season. He is 2-1 on the year with a 2.35 ERA. However, those numbers can be very deceiving and El Duque has been lucky. That luck is why we are getting such a nice line on the Tigers. Hernandez has a WHPG of 16.04 this season and although only 6 ER's have been scored on him, he has been in bad situations and could have been hit harder. El Duque has been very succesful against the Tigers but this is a very different Detroit team than previous years. The Tigers are averaging 4.66 runs per game versus righties on the road this season and should have enough power to take El Duque for a wild ride. Chicago's bullpen has been stellar but not as good as Detroit's. Hernandez tends to have control problems which will be a problem. St. Louis Cardinals -107 (5 Units) Matt Morris is making his third start of the season for the Cardinals and although it may not the best spot for him, he will lead the Cards to victory. Morris is 2-0 on the year with a 2.45 ERA and has walked only 2 batters. His WHPG is of only 9.00 and he has allowed only 3 ER's in two starts. Atlanta is averaging a decent 4.75 runs per game versus righties at home this season but it won't be enough to shut the Cards down. St. Louis has a decent bullpen that has yet to blow a save this season and that allows opposing teams to hit only .237. The Braves are hitting only .239 lifetime versus Morris. John Thomson is 2-2 on the year with a 3.12 ERA. Thomson is pitching some good ball but doesn't always have the run-support to back it up. He has a WHPG of 11.77 this season and has allowed 9 ER's. The Cardinals are 5-0 this season on the road when facing a righty and are averaging 5.20 runs per game in those games. Thomson is 2-4 lifetime versus the Cards with a 5.57 ERA. Pujols and the crew are batting a liftime .303 against Thomson and this should provide much of the same. The Cards will have to hit Thomson hard because Atlanta's bullpen is rock solid. Florida Marlins -132 (3 Units) Dontrelle Willis is the early favorite for the NL Cy Young and I would never bet against him. Willis is 4-0 on the year with an ERA of only 1.50 in four starts. He is 3-1 lifetime versus the Phillies with an ERA of 2.44 in eight starts. The Phillies are batting .205 lifetime versus Willis. His WHPG is of only 7.20 on the year and he has allowed only 5 ER's. The Phillies are averaging only 4.14 runs per game at home versus lefties. Florida's bullpen is rock solid allowing opposing teams to hit only .213 against them. Vincent Padilla has been atrocious this season and I'm not sure he's ready to go quite yet. Padilla is 0-2 on the year with an 18.00 ERA. I must admit he has done well against Florida in his career but this is different. His WHPG is a whopping 25.20 and he has allowed 12 ER's in his two starts. Florida is averaging 5.40 runs per game versus righties on the road this season and the hit parade should continue. Philly's bullpen is atrocious, allowing opposing teams to hit .291 off of them this season. That pen is always good for a few insurance runs. Good Luck to all! |

| Solid looking plays today, although I can't go w Det over the CWS the way CWS are playing right now. Love the FLA play, combination of one of the hottest pitchers in Willis, and the best pitcher to fade in Padilla. GL today
