play will range from 1-5 units this yr, 5 units being top play...

to kick it off we got two games tonight...both rematches of last yr playoff series...game 1 we get the improved bulls w ben wallace against the defending champs miami heat. i dont have a lot of time today so ill get right to it, i really like this chicago team...they are a gritty and talented bunch and the additions of ben wallace and tyrus thomas only helps them on the interior and their defense....they played mia tight in the playoffs last season and id expect them to be ultra motivated to get some payback tonight...the line is hovering around 6....i dont think shaq and wade will play more than 30 min tonight, the bulls will be ready, i wouldnt be surprised if they won su, but i can see mia winning by 5-8 pts as well..itll be a close game and is a no play for me w a slight lean on chicago.

game 2, the showstopper....phx at lal....amazing playoff series last yr...kobe was dominant vs the suns last season, BUT is coming off post season knee surgery and didnt play in the preseason...hmmm...now while bryant is listed as probable now, he surely wont be playing a ton of minutes having not had any preseason under his belt, prob 20 min max im guessing, if its a tight game maybe they leave him in late but how much rhythm will he have, how healthy is the knee and how much confidence will he have in it? on the flip side, phx is one of the most talented teams in the league, almost made the finals last season without arguably their best player amare stoudamire. amare is back, and while prob will not be the explosive amare we are used to he is still a force and can only help phx when healthy....this line is a little low, prob due to it being game 1 and on the road but i expect phx to win this pretty handily....w a healthy kobe phx is still the better team, with a limited kobe, phx by far is the better team and should win this one going away....3 unit play on phx -4
