The Warriors are averaging 95.5 points - 10 below their season average - the past two games while shooting 42 percent from the field and eight percent from 3-point range. BIG EDGE: SIXERS The 76ers are 4-14 against the Western Conference this year. EDGE: WARRIORS The favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Los Angeles Lakers at Indiana Pacers (7 PM ET) Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is averaging 37 points in his last four contests, including a 43-point effort against Boston on Wednesday night. EDGE: LAKERS The Pacers, who are tied with Atlanta for last in the conference in field-goal shooting at 43.7 percent, hit a season-best 53.6 percent (37-for-69) on Monday. EDGE: UNDER Bryant was held to 21 points in the first meeting this season with the Pacers, but the Lakers won 101-87 on December 4th at Staples Center. However, Los Angeles has dropped its last three visits to Conseco Fieldhouse. EDGE: PACERS The home team is 7-0 ATS in the last seven meetings. Toronto Raptors at Atlanta Hawks (7:30 PM ET) The Raptors have won eight of their last 11 trips to Atlanta, but they lost 97-93 on November 24th in their only visit this season. The Hawks had won three straight overall in this series before losing 105-92 at Toronto on Jan. 5 in the most recent meeting. SLIGHT EDGE: RAPTORS Atlanta finished January with an 8-7 record. It's the team's first winning month since a 4-3 mark in April 2004, and the first time the Hawks have won at least eight games in a month since going 9-7 in March 2002. EDGE: HAWKS The OVER is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings. Los Angeles Clippers at Boston Celtics (7:30 PM ET) A loss for Boston would extend the team's record losing streak to 14 games, surpassing the mark of 13 set during the 1993-94 season and matched in 1996-97. EDGE: CLIPPERS Boston has been without star guard Paul Pierce for 22 games and is averaging 92.5 points in his absence - a drop off of more than eight points per game. EDGE: CLIPPERS & UNDER The Celtics have also lost a club-record 10 consecutive home games and are a league-worst 4-18 at home this season. BIG EDGE: CLIPPERS Boston is 5-22-1 ATS in its last 28 home games. New Jersey Nets at Orland Magic (ESPN | 8 PM ET) Orlando star center Dwight Howard was held to a career-low one point - missing all six of his field goal attempts - in a 101-94 loss at New Jersey on January 20th. The Nets have beaten Orlando four straight times. EDGE: NETS The Nets are 8-2 in their last 10 visits to Orlando. BIG EDGE: NETS The underdog is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. The road team is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. Milwaukee Bucks at Detroit Pistons (8 PM ET) Detroit is ranked sixth in the NBA in scoring defense, allowing 93.9 points per game. EDGE: UNDER The Bucks have been held to 80 points or less four times since Michael Redd's injury and have lost 13 of their last 15 games. EDGE: UNDER Detroit is 2-8 ATS in its last 10 home games. The OVER is 5-0 in the last five meetings. Minnesota Timberwolves at New Orleans Hornets (8 PM ET) New Orleans has scored 100-plus points in only four of its last 27 games. EDGE: UNDER NBA insiders are quick to note that the Hornets offense was ineffective in point guard Chris Paul's first game back after a month-long absence, but the team is excited to be 3-1 on its current five-game homestand. EDGE: HORNETS The underdog is 9-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Portland Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets (9 PM ET) Denver is just 8-11 with Allen Iverson in the lineup and only 2-3 with both him and Carmelo Anthony on the floor. SLIGHT EDGE: BLAZERS Look for Anthony to come out on a mission to prove he should not have been snubbed as a reserve for the Western Conference All-Stars on Thursday. Anthony leads the NBA in scoring yet was not chosen due to his role in a brawl at Madison Square Garden back on December 16th. BIG EDGE: NUGGETS The Nuggets are 12-12 at the Pepsi Center, where they will play three of their next four. However, the Nuggets have lost two straight and seven of 10 at home. EDGE: SONICS The Bulls are hopeful that center Ben Wallace will return Friday night. The team played without him on Wednesday night due to a bruised tendon in his left knee. Head coach Scott Skiles said the All-Star center could return either for this contest or Saturday at Golden State. EDGE: BULLS Seattle guard Ray Allen has averaged 33.2 points over the last five games, but Seattle has lost four of them while allowing 109.8 points. EDGE: OVER The Sonics are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games playing on one day of rest. - - - - NBA Short Sheet Friday, February 2nd (TC) New Jersey at Orlando, 8:05 EST ESPN New Jersey: 20-5 ATS after 3+ games committing 11 or less turnovers Orlando: 2-12 ATS after having lost 2 of their last 3 games LA Lakers at Indiana, 7:05 EST LA Lakers: 15-5 ATS as an underdog Indiana: 8-1 ATS playing with 2+ days rest Golden State at Philadelphia, 7:05 EST Golden State: 38-17 Over when the line is +3 to -3 Philadelphia: 13-26 ATS off a SU win as an underdog LA Clippers at Boston, 7:35 EST LA Clippers: 17-6 Over as a road favorite of 6 points or less Boston: 4-17 ATS in home games Charlotte at Cleveland, 7:35 EST Charlotte: 4-12 ATS off BB SU wins Cleveland: 38-20 Under playing their 3rd game in 4 nights Toronto at Atlanta, 7:35 EST Toronto: 11-3 ATS when the line is +3 to -3 Atlanta: 3-16 ATS at home after scoring 105+ points Milwaukee at Detroit, 8:05 EST Milwaukee: 13-2 Over as a road underdog of 9.5 to 12 points Detroit: 26-39 ATS off an ATS win Minnesota at New Orleans, 8:05 EST Minnesota: 9-0 Over off a home loss by 3 points or less New Orleans: 14-2 ATS off a non-conference game Portland at Denver, 9:05 EST Portland: 1-5 ATS off a division game Denver: 30-15 ATS on Friday nights Chicago at Seattle, 10:35 EST ESPN Chicago: 5-15 ATS in road games Seattle: 11-2 ATS after having lost 3 of their last 4 games ** (TC) Denotes Time Change - - - - NBA Injuries - 2-02-07 Atlanta - Guard Speedy Claxton (2/1, sore left knee) is probable for Friday's game against Toronto.
