The Mavericks are playing real good basketball right now. I think at this point they have a great shot to win it all.

What does everyone else think? Can they beat the Pistons?

Cleveland is giving Detroit a good run and in my opnion, Dallas is a better team then the Cavs.

I might throw some down with Keith and go with Dallas to win it this year.

nah i dont see them winning the title....the spurs are old and beat...dallas looks good but they will have trouble w phx or lac..and are no match in 7 game series for det imo

I am sure the odds have changed since May 2nd, but you probably can still get pretty good odds on it. A closeout would be nice tonight vs the Spurs. I just believe they may finally have the ingredients to get the job done this year. Devin Harris and Diop are players that make a small impact that were no existent in years past. Plus in my eyes if Bruce Bowen cannot stop Dirk than I don't know who can. I'm hoping Detroit gets upset somehow and Dallas gets homecourt if they can somehow make it to the finals......... I think they matchup well with the Suns. I am assuming Suns get homecourt? We will see what happens guys its gonna be a wild finish.

Hey man with all do respect you have been doubting Dallas all playoff long. I'm sure you bet spurs just about every game. DETROIT THIS AND DETROIT THAT, your just like every other Average Joe Public Pounder. Half Heartly saying this BUT GET REAL MAN, the Pistols are OVER-RATED. They are full of themselves. Sheed is a Cancer that is spreading. They are 2 years removed of winning it all. They are over confident and cocky. Lets not forget Miami and Cleveland still have a legit chance to knock off these Guarnsheeds. Sometimes I think you have to think outside the box and saying Detroit all the way is certaintly not thinking outside the box. Its just a classic cop out taking the biggest favorite possible. Think of something new when you gamble occasionally. You might actually win more that way. Dont live in years past, so they had a great season against the likes of the Eastern Conference HOO HUM. Upon further review, its really hard to tell anything in NBA. I've let my heart get in the way and I have grown into the pattern of rooting against Detroit and San Antonio and cheering for Cleveland and of course Dallas. I will certaintly admit Pistons are a good bet. I am just praying they somehow blow it. Naught your a great capper and I was just making some bold and possibly wrong statements in the previous post. Naught, Spurs were old and beat last year and won the title. They are defending champions no matter how you shake it.

I still think it will be Dallas and Detroit in the Finals, with Detroit winning it all. Detroit is just in a little funk right now, they will probably get it together and dominate again soon.

honestly i still think spurs win this series against dallas.....i see no way they lose game 5 nor 7 at home.....and if it wasnt for some bullshit no where to be seen foul on bowen at the end of regulation spurs win game 4 at dallas...this series is gonna come down to game 6 at dallas....and i think the spurs will win it...im loving spurs series price at +320 right now at betcris....i still think they win this series over dallas
