Another losing week in the nfl for me. What can I say…I am consistent if nothing else. They all sound like winners when I pick them, but it just does not turn out that way. I am horrible in the nfl. My luck has got to turn around sooner or later in the pro’s. I am decent in college, so I don’t know what goes wrong in the nfl.

Been a really hectic week and I just have not had a lot of time to look at these games, that might be a good thing. Just going with gut instincts this week. Not looking at any trends or stats, reading anybody’s picks, just going with my gut feelings. I cannot do much worse.


Buffalo -5.5 vs Jets (best bet)…………..The bills have looked pretty good so far this year. If they can go into Miami and do what they did (and Miami is not as horrible as many of you want to believe), they can certainly beat a Jet team by more than a touchdown. I say they are all fired up and win this one going away.

Tennessee +11 vs Miami (best bet)……..I know I just said above that Miami is better than most people think, but they are still a messed up team right now. I think most dolphin fans would just settle for a win and are not too worried about covering the spread. I say that Miami finally get it first win over a pretty bad Tennessee team, but struggle in doing so. Miami gets the win, Tennessee gets the cash.

Cincinnati +2 vs Pittsburgh (strong play)………Many people cannot picture the Steelers losing at home, but I feel the Bengals have been wating for this game for a year. As long as Palmer does not get knocked out of this one, Cincy gets the win. It won’t be easy playing in Pittsburgh, but they will get it done.

Seattle -3.5 vs Giants (strong play)……………..Seattle is a great home team and I am sick about hearing about the Manning brothers. They both might not have a good week this week. I see Manning making some costly mistakes in this one. Don’t get me wrong, he will have his share of great passes I am sure, but I feel he will make some mistakes in Seattle that will lead to some Seattle points.

Jacksonville +7 vs Indianapolis (regular play)……….I am not quite as sure about this this Manning messing up as I am about his younger brother, but I think the Jax D is playing with an enormous amount of confidence right now after the complete domination of the Steelers. I will take a great defense and seven points anytime in this league.

New England -6.5 vs Denver (regular play)………….I have said before that I think the Pats are back. I don’t really care for Jake Plummer and the Broncos. They are way over rated. They might be decent at home, but they are going to get blown out this week at New England.


OPINIONS (no units, just for fun)

Carolina -3 vs Tampa Bay………I know both have not won yet, but I just cannot picture Carolina being 0-3. I think Smith is going to play this week, that will help.

Detroit -6.5 vs Green Bay………..More of a play against the packers.

Philly -6 vs San Fran………All of a sudden people act like the 49ers don’t suck anymore…..yes they do.

Minnesota +3.5 vs Chicago……..This team has surprised me this year so far. I will try the home dog. It is about time for a Chicago QB to get hurt as well, it usually does.


I always feel good about my NFL picks, maybe this week I will have some winners…..but don’t bet on it.
