Plus 5.60 units last week for me. Mark that down on your calendar, it won’t happen too often in the nfl when I am picking. Still down for the year, but I am very happy with the results so far. Maybe this is the year I turn it around in the pros. Lets see if I can get lucky two weeks in a row. It looks like a tough card this week.


Cincinnati -6 vs New England (best bet)………….This is definitely not the same New England team that we are all used to. I thought at the start of they year that they might fly under the radar, but it looks like I was wrong. I really think Cincinnati if they can stay health is the team to beat. I don’t see a letdown after beating the Steelers last week for them. I see a team with a ton of confidence who will beat the Pats with ease this week, at least by 10.

Houston +3.5 vs Miami (best bet)………..All I keep hearing is how horrible Houston is this year. I know the fish have been a disappointment so far this year, but why is this line only 3.5? People seem to think this is the one team that the dolphins can handle. I think it is a suckers bet. I can see Miami getting lucky and winning this game on a late field goal. Take the 3.5 if you want a winner.

Jets +9 vs Colts (strong play)…………..I don’t see the colts rolling over teams this year like they did last season. I think they will win their share of games, but they will be closer than expected. Jets looked good winning at Buffalo last week, I know because I had Buffalo as one of my best bets and lost. Getting the Jets at plus nine is a very solid home dog. Who knows, they might even get lucky and pull this one out.

Carolina -7 vs New Orleans (strong play)……..Wow! Did the Saints look good or what last week? The nfl wanted to saints to win that one really badly (was the fix in?) They looked too good and will get crushed this week at Carolina. The bookies are not in the habit of giving money away and the Saints plus a touchdown looks too easy to me. The smart money will be on the panthers this week.

Chicago -3.5 vs Seattle (regular play)…………I am starting to believe in these Bears. This team knows how to play defense and this year I think their offense is improved. Home field should make the difference in this one. Seattle hard to beat at home, but they are not there this week.

Buffalo -1.5 vs Minnesota (regular play)………..This is another game that I believe home field makes the difference. I was a believer in the bills last week and I am not ready to give up on them. This is also more of a play against the Vikings on the road as it is on Buffalo. It should be a close game, but the Buffalo will pull it out and win by seven.

Tennessee +9 vs Dallas………Tennessee is terrible, you would have to be nutz to take them. That is why I like them.

Cleveland -3 vs Oakland……….Taking the less sucky team of the two. The Raiders are in for a really long year this year.

Kansas City -7 vs San Fran………..The niners might be a little improved this year, but not this much. They should be more than seven at KC.
