Default monday night football

THIS WEEK

BEST BETS (1-0)(+3.00 UNITS)
STRONG PLAYS (1-1)(-0.20 UNITS)
REGULAR PLAYS (1-1)(-0.10 UNITS)

TOTAL (3-2)(+2.70 UNITS)

OPINIONS (2-2)(NO UNITS, JUST FOR FUN)

FOR THE YEAR SO FAR

BEST BETS (9-5)(+10.50 UNITS)
STRONG PLAYS (9-9)(-1.80 UNITS)
REGULAR PLAYS (9-7)(+1.30 UNITS)

TOTAL (27-21)(+10.00 UNITS)

OPINIONS (11-15)(NO UNITS, JUST FOR FUN)

Another winning week so far in the nfl for me. I know being plus ten units is not much, but it is the best I have done for a while. It is rare for me to be on the plus side in the nfl. I even turned it around in college and I am not on the plus side in both college and pro football this year. I am not sure that has ever happen to me before.

Monday Night Football

Dallas -3 vs NY Giants (regular play)…………….I like Dallas tonight, probably enough to make it more than a regular play, but I don’t trust either one of these teams. I really get the feeling this game is won by exactly 3 or 4 points by either team. I see Dallas running the ball and keeping it away from the Giants offense as much as possible. On the other hand, the Giants have Tiki Barber and a pretty good running game as well. They key to winning might be time of possession tonight and who makes the fewest mistakes.

Under 44.5 Dallas/Giants (regular play)……….I usually don’t play totals because I usually lose when I do, but I have to give this one a shot. Like mentioned above, I see both teams running the ball and playing keep away from each other. If I am right about this, we are probably looking at an under tonight. Of course both defenses are not too shabby either. I originally picked this game 24-20 Dallas and that would give me an under, but as this week has gone under and the more I think about the game, I don’t even see 44 points scored. Instead of my original pick of 24-20, I think I will make it 17-13 Cowboys

Even if I drop both picks tonight, I still would have a winning week in the pro’s for the week, so I will not to too upset if that happens. Something tells me I am either going 2-0 or 0-2 tonight. I will either be right on the money or completely off base in this one. We shall see.

Good Luck Everybody!!

Expect Dallas D to crowd line of scrimmage and stop developing potent Giant ground game.

Forcing Giants to beat Dallas with passing game.

On a neutral field ...these teams would match up evenly.

question marks: would be Bledsoe's consisitency...no better QB in the game when Bledsoe is in stride(Manning, Palmer and Brady included)

Bledsoe reminds one almost of Tommy Kramer...when he is good, he is very, very good....

...but when he is bad...he is horrid.

Dallas's trenches on offense and defense "belly up to the bar" in this game.

Injury-wise...Giants are a little more dinged up than Dallas

Giants 18
Dallas 26'

Dallas to win by 8.5...... total score= 44.5

I don't think Dallas D has any choice but to try to stop NYG run game early...

..coming off bye week, NYG has looked just great.

Kindofa' pick yer poison.

NYG D a little weaker... I'm guessing they'll ATTEMPT to play things "on the square"...

..but if they load up to stop the run, it'll be an aerial shootout between two capable QBs and single coverage on D

BOL Mark, No Doubt The NY Giants have played the tougher schedule and They both played 2 teams the same. Philly and Washington, they both beat Wash and the G-Men beat Philly in OT by 6 points @ Philly, while Philly beat Dallas by 2 TD's.

I just can't see Dallas winning the game and if they do, I repeat IF THEY DO, it will be by a FG. Eli is a better QB than Payton is and will prove it in the years to come. I followed both of their careers since freshmen in high school.

In case U did not see my post about tonights game, The record of the 3 teams that the NYG beat is 10-10 and the records of the 3 teams that Dallas beat is ONLY 5-14 HUGH difference in competition. I am sure it will show tonight too.
