I Went away this past weekend, so I did not play anything. The record posted above was for two weeks ago. It was not a great week, but it was another winning week. Lets hope this past week off did not stop the momentum I had going. Lets try this one more time.





Colts -1 vs Dallas (best bet)…………..Everybody seems to think Dallas is one of the better teams all of a sudden. Their young QB is doing pretty good, but he is going to have to outscore the colts this week. That tells me he is going to be forced to throw more and that will lead to a few mistakes by him. The colts are the best regular season team in football, just not the playoffs. The are road tested this year as well. The cowboys have played well recently, but they are due for on of their screw up games. They will have to play a perfect game to beat the colts this week and I just don’t see that happening.

Minnesota +3.5 vs Miami (best bet)……….A few weeks ago everybody said Miami really sucked and might be the worst team in football. Now they have reeled off two straight impressive wins, while the Vikings have not looked very good recently. The nfl is a strange league this year where anything can happen. It just does not make any sense to take Minny this week and that is why I am doing it.

Baltimore -4 vs Atlanta (strong play)………..I have been really impressed with Baltimore this year despite last weeks loss. Atlanta and Vick starting to show their true colors. Getting Baltimore at home, laying only this is a pretty sweet deal in my eyes. Michael Vick will have another one of his mistaked filled games vs this Raven defense.

Arizona -2 vs Detroit (strong play)……………..Battle of a couple of sucky teams. I think I will go with the less sucky at home. Detroit lost at home to San Fran last week and now they have to go on the road at Arizona and I don’t think Zona is as bad as their record. I guess this is more of a play against Detroit. How can you take Detroit getting less than a field goal on the road vs anybody? You can’t.

Kansas City -9.5 vs Oakland (regular play)………….Sure Oakland has played better recently, but a few weeks ago everybody was making fun of this team saying how there are college teams who could beat them. I will give their defense some credit, but their offense is one of the worst ever. KC might just explode after last weeks loss to Miami and the Chiefs defense should have no problem shutting down Oaklands offense. I just cannot imagine KC not winning this at home by double digits.


Pittsburgh -3.5 vs Cleveland (regular play)…………..Maybe BigBen finally has some confidence going now. Once he gets going, so will the Steelers. Willie Parker had a great game as well, so the Steelers might reel off a few wins now. Cleveland is a team they can handle, even on the road. The Steelers are way overdue for a breather….this might be the game.

San Diego +3 vs Denver………………Chargers are a machine, Denver is over rated. Chargers find a way to win this game.

NY Jets +7 vs Chicago……….I am not so sure the Bears are the team people think they are. Rex Grossman will screw up this week and let the Jets in the game.

New Orleans -3.5 vs Cincinnati……….I picked the Bengals to go to the Superbowl this year. Is it too late to change my mind? They have a ton of talent, but seems to have a ton of problems as well. Playing on the road at New Orleans is not the place to solve them.


That will do it for this week. Be careful with my picks this week. I am way, way overdue for a losing week in the nfl.
