After a great regular season, for me at least, I have come back down to earth in the playoffs. At least I am guaranteed a winning season for the entire year, no matter what happens today.

I have gone back and forth all week on the Superbowl. I did not make up my mind until last night. I have sucked during the playoffs, and my first thought/pick was to take the colts. But after giving it some thought, more than likely my first instincts are wrong. I am going with the Bears.

Chicago +7 vs Indianapolis (best bet)…………Why not make this a best bet? It is the last game of the year. I have noticed that most places have this now at 6.5. I have read a lot of picks having the Bears win this outright. I like them but not to win the game. Championships are won with defense. That is not always true, but it is most of the time. No question the Bears have the better defense in this one. I think Manning is finally going to get his ring this year. I have a feeling all those years of frustration will come to an end tonight. I actually see the Bears winning most of this game and Payton finding a way on a final drive to pull this one out. I think it will be a great story. If the bears had a better QB, sorry I just don’t like Rex, I think they would win the game. Chicago’s defense earns them the cover, but Payton over Rex gets the W. I think this game will be a little lower scoring than most people think as well. I will make it New England 23 Chicago 20.

Win or Lose tonight, I am very happy with my NFL season this year.
