Default I have a problem with this ongoing statement

"Dallas has a good defense" & "Dallas has fixed their defense"

The answer is NO.

This team has played a joke of a schedule.

In the midst of this joke of a schedule, the NY Giants who are the only team that has shown they have any offensive firepower and they put up 35 on the Cowboys " Improved Defense" and it was a 3 point game with 2 minutes to go in the 4th q.

Dallas had a very close game in Miami until the last 4 minutes when the Dolphins caved

Dallas beat a horrible Bears team who are struggling to find any type of rhythm and who have zero offensive threat.

Dallas beat the Bills by 1 point in a game where Buffalo gave Dallas every opportunity to win. While NE played Buffalo in NE, they did beat them by 31, Dallas by 1.

These teams according to their 5-0 records might appear to be equal, but that is a misleading angle.

I leave you with one last question.

If the NY Giants put up 35 on Dallas, what do you think the Patriots are gonna do?

New England -4

Good observation Wig. After last night, I do not think Dallas is all that strong. But they may have been looking past Buffalo to the Pats game this week. Who Knows. Tony Romo looked like shit regardless.

Tony Homo is shit. He did this last year as well. Beat Carolina, lost at Washington. Beat Indy, lost to Detroit. And how can we forget the playoff game in Seattle? I feel this is going to be a lopsided game and a big win for NE. AFC dominance at it finest.

"QUOTE", Dallas beat the Bills by 1 point in a game where Buffalo gave Dallas every opportunity to win. While NE played Buffalo in NE, they did beat them by 31, Dallas by 1.

Wig, Buffalo played 2 good defensive ball clubs and scored 3 and 7 points (Pitt 26-3) & (N. Eng 38-7) and they played another good defensive ball club in Dallas last night and scored 3 points Offensively. 2 Int's for TD's and 1 Kickoff return for a TD is how they scored the other 21 points. On top of that Dallas had 6 turnovers in the game and still won, to me that just shows how much the better Dallas was than Buffalo. If you turn the ball over 6 times, U R not suposed to win the game, especially on the road. The bottom line is Dallas is still UNDEFEATED.

How can you say, "Buffalo gave Dallas every opportunity to win". I think it was just the opposite, Dallas gave Buffalo every opportunity to win and they COULDN'T. Buffalo could not move the ball and score any points on OFFENSE

With that said, I am NOT a Dallas Fan by no means, but, I give credit where credit is due!!

I agree Tommy, he did look like shit last night, but, that can happen to the best of them. I don't agree that Dallas is not a strong ball club after holding Buffalo to 3 points on offense. I have seen Brady looks like shit at different times. You could be very right when you say that Dallas could have been looking ahead to N.ENG. I guess we will find out exactly what Dallas is made of after this week coming.

I'll say one more thing about Int's returned for TD's and Kickoffs returned for TD's and Punts returned for TD's, that is more luck than skill. There is no way to cap that.

Holding Buffalo's offense to 3 wasn't all that big of a feat for Dallas, afterall, Buffalo was averaging a whopping 10 ppg coming into last night's game.

I see arguments for both sides. I just think Dallas is capable of beating up on the weak but not a top tier team just yet. They lost a hall of fame coach and there is supposed to be no drop off from that?

You cannot cap SP TD's...well you can declare which team has a SP edge, but yes its hard to cap 6 turnovers and 2 SP TD's, I agree.

I just know that the only offensive club Dallas has faced was the Giants who put up 35 with Manning leaving the game mid 4th q. The other opponents do not have the weapons to test Dallas' weakness on defense. So while it may look like Dallas has "fixed" their problems, I tend to agree that they just have not been exposed.

Any given Sunday....we will see shortly....
