We are all degenerates in our own right. It wouldn't be natural if we weren't, or at one time.

i dont ever consider myself as a degenerate.i make money n thats not a brag.its like a business to me but also a bunch of fun.i also play the stock market n its very similar an i use basically the same approach-im a contrarian an i try to sit with vegas.i never use stats an past performances -(only in cfb).the offshore books give out freely all those stats ie umpires behind the plate.pitching stats etc-why? so you can beat them.hardly.i go against that an it has worked year in n year out.we all go thru loosin streaks but $$ management is the key.slow n steady.its a marathon.

Nothing better than following a sport you bet on very closely and religously.

I disagree with you on the stats part somewhat though. It can be a help in one of many sources for info when handicapping a game. It's not the stats that helps, it's picking out the right stats that matters. Not many people even know what thier looking at most of the time.

I don't think in the least bit that sportsbooks give out stats to try and minipulate anyone in losing by using them. I think they are for more of a motivational tool to bet or for another reason to stay at thier site.

I agree with you whole heartily on money management. Very important in having a chance to win for the long haul.

I can't say that I've ever lost time from work specifically due to gambling, nor have I used non-gambling funds for betting, nor have I lost all my money. And I've never considered doing anything self-destructive due to my gambling. But yes, I do gamble alot, and I will gamble more after I win, and I will continue when I am losing to recoup my losses. Sometimes I think my gambling is good for my well-being because if I'm feeling down I can get back up with a nice sports betting win.

Last but not least, I never bet in the non-sports casinos (online or otherwise) unless I get free chips. So I think I have it under control. But I am degenerate under your system!
