Default Someone That When To The Falcon Training Camp

Falcon's Training Camp

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Falcon's training Camp July 26th 2005 6:30pm- 8:30pm
Temp 97F/ Full dress uniform
Falcon's facility, Flowery Branch Ga.

Start off with the Quarterbacking,
# 7 Michael Vick, Looking very well, apparently the bone spurs and shoulder problems are of the past. Vick hit about 95% of his passes thrown and was running and scrambling very well.Eluding the defense for 5 to 10 yards in a 7 on 7 line up. He's
looking good on the fake run as well. Throwing the ball hard and running fast, All in all I was surprised to see that Vick is playing extremely well in practice.

# 14 Ty Detmer, looking slow off the line, throwing short inside passes, nothing real long, and off the mark a little, the recievers were having to move to the ball more than turn and grab.

# 3 Bryan Randall, the new rookie QB, is looking very well a strong backup to Vick, if this man plays look for some good stuff once he gets comfortable on the field, throwing strong and running fast, good fake passer. Also he was back up to Vick in college so they should work well together.

All others,

# 83 Alge Crumpler TE, looking very strong and healthy, in the offense-defense drills, not once did anyone get around him, most hit the grass.

# 87 Romby Bryant WR, did well on fake routes, however only 50% on the long pass

# 15 Cole Magner Rookie WR, look for this guy to play well if he plays like he did in practice, great hands, catching overthrown balls with ease, jumping high and reaching far to make the catch.

# 17 Derrick Tinsley Rookie WR, I was not impressed with this guy, he missed a lot of his passes, and not a strong runner from what I have seen so far.

# 12 Michael Jenkins WR, not a strong show for the 2yr player, 50% on his catches, but running well.

# 89 Dez White WR, playing very well on the long pass

# 35 Jason Wright RB, looking well running the ball, no fumbles

# 28 Warrick Dunn RB, looking even better, no fumbles and fighting to stay on his feet

# 45 T.J. Duckett RB, playing well, hard hitting, no fumbles

# 38 Ronnie Heard S, this guy can take some hits

# 21 DeAngelo Hall CB, playing good defense, healthy

# 52 Jordan Beck Rookie LB, watch this guy, he was getting the QB 75% of the time, he is tough and hits very hard.

# 39 Carey Davis FB, This guy is gonna hurt somebody, hits extremely hard even after the takedown.

I'd say this was a very good practice, interesting to say the least, being that I'm an Eagles fan. The Offense was beating the defense 65% of the time on the pass, and the defense was beating the offense 50% on the run, there was an interesting fight on a play between # 45 T.J. Duckett and # 88 Mark Anelli, took about 4 other players and 2 coaches to seperate them, would have loved to know what that was about, but the whistles just kept blowing and so did they. The Defense isn't as strong as the Offense that I have seen so I can't wait for the next practice.

Thanks for the Info Ace.

I saw an interview with ATL coach this morning and he plans on having Vick throw alot more this year. I dont know if hes just talking out his ass but thats what he said. I think it ATL will be a strong team again this year, but I think the Eagles repeat and get to the SB again. Not much has changed for me to say any different, but who knows anything can happen. I cant wait for Football

Ive been pretty busy getting this site set up and have a lot of things in the works right now. Im about to hit people in their heads in about a week with what Im working on now

After Im done with what Im doing now, I will be looking for any info and angles I can.

Great info ACE, always good to know how teams look in training camp and which players might surprise. I disagree with you Tommy, Eagles won't repeat this yr, the whole Owens issue is gonna be a cancer on that team and I think other teams in the NFC are better this yr and will be able to knock off philly....ATL will be better, they will try to throw more, whether Vick can do it and win that way is another story...Minny should be improved with some more defense, don't forget about CAR, their defense is killer and they get a healthy Steve Smith, Deshaun Foster, and Stephen Davis back. AZ is gonna be a sleeper in the NFC as well....there are a handful of teams who should be good this yr in the nfc....oh yeah, and xide98 swear by the skins this yr, lol

Nah Gina, that was a joke but Collins should put up some solid # this year and Oak should be improved with Moss and company.

I am a Philly Fan all the way
