| Thursday: 4-4 3* Toronto Argonauts/Montreal Allouettes Game Total OVER 52.5 I've looked up and down this game tonight and one thing is for certain. Damon Allen hasn't performed well vs Montreal over his last 3 games throwing for a little over 400 yards between those games. Calvillo on the other hand has over 900 yards over the same span (averaging over 300 yards). Given their tough luck loss last week I'll back that Montreal scores here at home. Toronto have a very solid defense but isn't the same at home as it is on the road. Several injuries tonight as well for the Argos including LB Bonner, OL Moroz, LB Winters, WR Bruce and DT Walsh. I figure Montreal to score and pressure Toronto to score. Montreal games over 52.5 this season is 6-1 (I believe), the only loss being the first game of the season against the Renegades. Since sharpening up they've been scoring more and more and last week with Winnipeg combined for almost 100 total points. This week shouldn't be as high scoring but I see no reason why this one shouldn't get up there. Montreal's great defense last year is now medi-ocre (5th in total yards allowed). Their offense has been pressured because of their defense giving points. This appears to be the best play. Damon Allen (Toronto QB) is celebrating his 42nd birthday tonight. I figure this game to be high scoring, even with Toronto having to play Winnipeg on Monday. Toronto will have no choice but to keep scoring here. Calvillo, especially after last week won't have much of a mind about leaving his defense to try to win ![]() GL! B
