Packers Injury Update Wed Aug 10, 2005
The Press Gazette reports Packers second-year CB Jason Horton returned to practice — again. After a trying offseason in which he had his lymph nodes removed due to complications from sarcoidosis — the same condition that contributed to DE Reggie White’s death last year — Horton returned to the practice field for the first time on July 26 only to hyperextend his right shoulder. LB Ray Thompson was held out due to a sore knee. For the first time in camp, C Mike Flanagan (knee) and OT Chad Clifton (knee) took part in both practices on the same day. They previously had been limited to one practice a day. WR Javon Walker (hamstring) returned after missing two days. OT Brad Bedell (hamstring), LB Kurt Campbell (calf), LB Na’il Diggs (knee), DT Cletidus Hunt (knee/shoulder), WR Terrence Murphy (hip flexor), CB Joey Thomas (calf), DE R-Kal Truluck (hamstring), CB Chris Johnson (shin) and DT Grady Jackson (knee) all have been ruled out for Thursday’s game against San Diego. DT Kenny Peterson (elbow) has not yet been ruled out. |
