The Washington Times reports Redskins CB Shawn Springs and CB Walt Harris are the team's starting corners. First-round draft pick CB Carlos Rogers (foot) and veteran pick up CB Artrell Hawkins (hamstring) will begin their competition for the No. 3 corner spot once they are cleared to practice. That leaves CB Rufus Brown, CB Ade Jimoh and CB Garnell Wilds vying for the Redskins No. 5 corner spot. Wilds missed Tuesday's two practices with a thigh bruise sustained Monday when he was kneed by OLB Marcus Washington.
