Default Looking @ the Books "Trap" Games - Week 5

Week 1:

None in my opinion, maybe the GB@Det-3 game. Too early to tell.

Week 2:

Det-1 @Chi = W if you took Chi, L = if you took the "Trap" bet Det.

Atl @Sea-2 = W if you took Sea, L = if you took the "Trap" bet Atl.

Stl @Ariz-1.5 = L if you took Ariz, W = if you took the "Trap" bet Stl.

SD @Den-3 = Push

Week 3:

Atl @Buf-3 = L = if you took Buf, W = if you took the "Trap" bet Atl.

NYG @SD-6.5 = W = if you took SD, L = if you took the "Trap" bet NYG.

KC @Den-3 = W = if you took Den, L = if you took the "Trap" bet KC.

Week 4:
Phil @KC-2.5 = L = if you took KC, W = if you took the "Trap" bet Phil.

Sea @Wash-2 = W= if you took Wash, L = if you took the "Trap' bet Sea.

Dal @Oak-3 = W = if you took Oak, L = if you took the "Trap" bet Dal.

SF @Ariz-3 = W = if you took Ariz, L = if you took the "Trap' bet SF.

Total record if you took all the "Trap" games = 7-3-1

I will post this thread each week. I will give us a starting point on games I think are "Traps". Also, would like others opinions and games they believe are "Traps".
BTW- my lines are coming form scoresandodds.com.

Week 5

Cin @ Jac -3

Mia @Buf-3

i like the jags....at home i think they rise up and get a big win here..not sold on cincy yet, lets see how they do vs a good defense....also the mia/buff game has no bet all over it for me...who knows how buffalos offense will be w the qb change, might be better and i dont think miami is that gfood

I don't really see the Miami game as a trap. 2 bad teams and the home team is usually favored by a field goal

One I think may be a trap that you didn't post is Baltimore against Detroit with Detroit at home -1. All the talk is about how bad Detroit is and how Harrington is a bust and can't make it in the NFL which is true, and on top of that how Baltimore has such a great defense. To me it looks like the books want you to take the great defense team against the horrible team PLUS get a +1. So I believe the smart bet would be on Detroit -1.

I may be completly wrong, but I would like your opinion on this since this trap system has been doing pretty good so far.

I'm in a office pool and I even took Philly. I don't really think it was a "trap" though. Phil was only favored by 3. If Dal was favored, then definite "Trap".

Not a bad record for those games 8-3-2.

i would say NE -2 after vick was ruled out would qualify as a trap bet too.
