Default $$$ Wigington's MNF System Pick $$$

Hope we all had a good Sunday. The Cards killed me but the Jets came through like a champ! Hoping to finish off the night strong. I know the public is riding
the Colts and they should be. I mean they have no reason not to at this point.
I put these two teams into a system play of mine. They matchup closer than expected.

Indianapolis vs New England

Indy Off Avg = 27.0 ppg
Opp Def Avg = 23.4 pp
Indy outperforms their opponents = 3.6 ppg

Indy Def Avg = 11.0 ppg
Opp Off Avg = 16.8 ppg
Indy outperforms = -5.8 ppg

Indy Composite Performance = 9.4ppg

NE Off Avg = 22.7 ppg
Opp Def Avg = 19.5 ppg
NE outperforms = 3.2 ppg

NE Def Avg = 25.7 ppg
Opp Off Avg = 23.9 ppg
NE is Outperformed = 1.8 ppg

NE Composite Performance = 1.4 ppg

Now lets take a look at Home Field Advantage

>90% = 5 pts
70-90% = 4 pts
55-70% = 3 pts
40-55% = 2 pts
25-40% = 1 pt
0-25% = 0 pts

Last 4 years at home

2005 2/3
2004 9/9
2003 10/10
2002 5/8

New England has won 86% of their home games in the past 4 years lowering Indianapolis Edge to 4.0ppg.

This is almost dead on what the line has been raised to. I think NE definately has Home Field working for them tonight and them being Home Dog looks tempting. We all know the history of these two teams, but I believe that will change tonight. Peyton likes to air it out and the running game has looked really well with Edgerrin James. We all know NE are the Champs, but we have seen what teams with a balanced offense have done. Remember the SD game? Carolina? Tonight Peyton gets his shot.

Indianapolis -3

The Pats have been dismantled by the Panthers and the Chargers and do not forget about the Broncos. I think what happens in a game like this is people often look at trends and the trend is heavily favoring the Pats. The Pats this year are not the Pats we have seen in the Pats. I know everyone is sick of hearing about injuries and a team does have to rise above it, but they are hurting and they know it. I will side with the Patriot backers that the Colts do have an easy schedule. The best offensive team they have played is the Rams. I do believe if Bulger would have stayed in, they could have won straight up and especially covered. So maybe this is why Patriot backers like laying points at home. I believe the Colts are the best they have every been and ever since that shock of being down 17-0 first quarter it has shown them that they have to do more than show up. They will not take the Patriots lightly. LT lit em up at home, espect the same from Edgerrin James and a better pass attack than SD to boot.

yeah i agree w all your points bro....everything to me points to a huge indy win...BUT im not sold on indy's defense..i think NE can trade shot for shot w indy tonight especially at home, itll be cold, and the indy defense is vulnerable as the rams showed before bulger got hurt

Point taken. Just because they looked shaky doesn't mean they will be shaky tonight. They know what this game means. Just want to see you on the winning side.

They know what this game means but can they get it done?? Pats at home are toguh and NE has Mannings number. It is a different year though and Indy looks great while NE has look less than stellar and has had alot of injuries. I hope its a great game and I wish you the BOL TONIGHT WIG!!!

Wig, I have great respect for you as a capper, but, I have to disagree with you tonight. I can't see Vegas taking a hit in this game, it's gonna be one of those HOW IN THE HELL DID NEW ENGLAND cover this spread. I may have to bet a couple of units on the ML, just in case!!!

BOL Bro!!!!

Wig, I deserve to lose almost 2 dimes last night on New England. I had a BAD feeling about the game after I read your thread. I was trying to think positive when I told you I disagreed with your selection.

Keep up the great picks bro!!! You are one hot capper!!!!
