| I am hoping the public hits the over hard and I can get Under 49. I know this is a risky bet because Indy at home can light it up, but this will be the toughest defense Indy has faced all year long. Pittsburgh plays smashmouth football where they run the ball and do a lot of short passing plays to WR and dump passses to the RB. I think Indy's mentality here will be to score but not to score in 2-3 plays, or at least I am hoping. Colts are aware of how Pittsburgh plays football and part of winning is clock management. If both teams have this mentality, the Under should hit, but I really hope it goes up to 49 by kickoff. Nick, I know you question what the System has done lately and this spread is up for grabs. I was hoping to see Pitt +10 but not sure that will happen. Indy only has a 8.33 ppg Edge and based on that alone is really to close to make a bet. I am leaning towards the Under. Will post later before kickoff if I make a wager on it. |

| Read my thread, Cowher has made a statement he is going to RUN the ball and manage the clock like he did against Cincinnati when he beat them 27-13. He knows the only way to beat Indy is to keep Manning and Company off the field. BOL!!!!

| I read it before I posted. I agree and hope the total goes to 49, not sure if it will though. One reason I am not sold 100% on the Colts being the best team is firstly look at the first half of their schedule. Bal Jax Cle Tenn SF STL HOU The only team that would pose as any type of offensive threat was the Rams who went up 17-0 in Indianapolis, who apparently had an improved defense. Now it would look as if they were improved defensively considering their first 5 games they gave up : 7, 3, 6, 10, &3. To the 1st 5 teams. Then they give up 28 to STL & 20 to Houston. Does that sound improved? Yeah they ended the streak against the Patriots, but if the Patriots were 100% healthy and had all of their key off/def players, would the Colts have won? Colts did win and thats the end of story, but you have to look at the whole spectrum here before you jump on the bandwagon of the Indianapolis Colts. |

| In regards to our post Nick, I do like the Under here. 68% are on the Over tonight and this could be close to a public fade. I realize my above rant, had nothing to do with the O/U play, but I just wanted to get it out. |
